@kingotnw @JLCrogue @LastRambo341 @Drkr_Zen Which is why the only thing that can sell me a console are exclusive games, which is the main reason why I haven't bought a Wii U, there aren't any games on it that give me a reason to buy it. That's the point that Pachter was making when he said a price cut won't boost sales... at least not significantly. Nintendo needs to release some great exclusive games before they'll sell many Wii U's and by the time that happens it might be too late, because the PS4 and next Xbox will be out.
@LastRambo341 @Drkr_Zen No, it's not even backwards compatible, the processor is of a completely different architecture, they changed/improved the controller, it has 16 times as much RAM in it, there is a share feature, you'll be able to stream games on it, and I'm sure we'll learn about even more differences/improvements in the coming months.
The game is amazing fun and hilarious.... but the main story is only about 3 hours long and side missions probably only take about another 3 hours. I'm just hoping that add some new stuff to the game before it's released.
This doesn't sound good for me as I'm studying to become a game programmer. Seeing so many big game companies fail and so many indie games get released (big competition) is worrisome for people like me, who want to make games in the future. I already have a great idea for a big budget game, but I don't think it would be quite as good as a simple indie game.
@Imperiacommando It's a free-to-play PC shooter with massive battles. The problem is that each gun for each class costs a lot of money to buy or tons of hours of play time to unlock. Basically a pay-to-win game.
Finally some good news about the next Xbox. Having it always online is bad, but not a total deal breaker for me as long as it has some great exclusives. Blocking used games on the other hand would be a total deal breaker.
