@Anema1986 This "greedy guy" filed a patent for the technology Nintendo is using and he even met with members of Nintendo to show them this technology in hopes that they would do business with him. According to him, they stole this technology and are profiting from his work. I'd be doing the same thing if I were him.
This could potentially be a great game. I want to pre-order it so I can play the beta and get that "exclusive" content, but I did that for the original APB because I had high hopes for that game... and I regretted it.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Nintendo went out of the hardware business and I'd be okay with that as long as they kept releasing games on other platforms. All it really means is that I don't have to buy another console just to play Mario or Zelda, so if anything it would be good for us consumers.
@AtomicBaconBits What can I say? I like controversy and I like MGS, so I was already very likely to buy his next game anyway. When I finally get to develop games of my own I plan on making one in particular very controversial and it will make you think about the world we live in, much like MGS. Of course, I don't want to give away any details because I don't want my idea stolen. Unfortunately, it will be many years before this game would get released and by that time our government might be so tyrannical that they'd arrest me for this type of game. Yes, it would be THAT controversial.
He's worried that it might be too controversial... SOLD! Kojima just got me excited about this new game and increased it's future sales by AT LEAST one.
