Is it true the patch nerfed exp from hideouts?
Jagged3dge
Yes it did, i just did twin rocks on my own before and i got like $300, altough this means people arent just going to be going on RDR exp farming instead they can actually interact with other players kick back and mess around instead :)
I think many people are being very harsh on this game, i have put hours into the single player and have hardly touched missions. I've improved my poker game alot and can now win pretty consistantly even without rigging the deck (shame you cant play it online), blackjack is kind of good for a couple of quick rounds although it is luck as much as skill, five finger fillet helps speed up reactions which is always good, horseshoe throwing admittedly is fairly frustrating and hunting is still a blast. Put aiming onto expert and try hunting birds, it gives a great sense of achievement if you hit one and even better if you can hit them consistantly.
Multuiplayer is great if you round up a decent posse and actually work together, otherwise you do end up getting fairly pissed off at all the level 30+ who ride around on faster mounts with better weapons and can kill you in like 2 shots.
It depends i guess, i think i may have captured the same guy twice a few times. Sometimes even if you kill the criminal they are still back on the bounty board. This is probably due to the fact that RDR will only have so many names stored on it and they will be selected randomly for going up on the bounty board.
It is probably to the support the south african world cup charity trying to get education over there. I have to admit it is an ingenius way of them getting publicity for their charity and you have to say thumbs up to microsoft for allowing it.
If you believe this rumour then you are probably still sitting at home frantically searching the internet for the release date of little big planet onto the xbox 360...
i guess you never can tell until the beta testers can get ahold of the game and tell us what they think, although to some people the game may feeled ruined it may feel a lot better to some other players. Although i find it hard for them to make too much difference from fallout 3 as in gameplay due to the boundaries of the game engine.
I know this is slightly off-topic but im finally going to go and get red dead redemption tonight (fingers crossed its in stock), if you want to add me my gamertag is JM MUFC. I am likely to be going on free roam first to get used to the controls and how to steer/handle the horses, feel free to drop in and we can ride around and maybe start up some fights with a posse if theres one in the game i/we are in.
I would prefer to be playing a game that was too hard, if its too easy i would get bored after like an hour and i couldnt imagine ever putting that game back in my disk drive. If it was "too hard" (which in my opinion there has never been a game so hard you cant complete it) then i would enjoy it alot more, granted i would get frustrated with the game but the feeling of accomplishment after you complete the game when it has been so challenging makes it all worthwhile, afterall isnt that what games are about?
For me its gotta be:
Red Dead Redemption
Fallout: New Vegas
Medal Of Honour
Call Of Duty: Black Ops
Fable 3
And thats about it :)
