[QUOTE="Dr_Killa"]no i dont mean pay by day. lets say you pay for a month. the days left only go by when you log in live. rather than paying for live and having to make the use of it everyday because the time is ticking and only 1 profile should have to pay for live for the xbox, so live subscription is for the whole xbox not the profile that payed for it

But if it is for that one xbox and your 360 breaks, if you send it to microsoft you are guaranteed to get a different one back so you have lost your xbox live. Whereas with it being on profile you can access live on any console you want as long as you have your profile on memory stick or you redeem it on that console.

[QUOTE="Wakanoid"]... Uh, google? But seriously? Dude, just play the game and you'll know. These are all very simple achievements.

I have Buckin' awesome now although i have a new problem i have just completed fort mercer (well a few missions back now) yet i do not have the achievement nor did i get an achievement after doing my first stranger mission... could this be something to do with the fact that i skipped to a checkpoint in seths mission when your going to tumbleweed to find the treasure?

Okay so i completely addicted to Red Dead Redemption, yet there are so many random achievements that most of them just leave me thinking "how the hell am i meant to do that?!?!". Here are some achievements i am particularly finding difficulty with:

  • Basically all the gang hideout single player achievements - do the said places turn into gang hideouts once the single player story is complete?
  • Buckin' awesome - how to you differentiate horse breeds? where are the said breeds located?
  • Gold Medal - what defines a "combat mission"?

Also the achievement "spurred to victory" does it matter if you hitch your hourse between missions like when you sleep or go into a saloon/store? Or is it only if your horse dies that you forfeit the achievement?

if you have or know how to do the above achievement offer any help you can as i am sure i'm not the only one having achievement difficulties. Also if you cant do an achievement post it on here and i or the other helpful gamespotters will surely shed some light on the situation!

P.S. The avatar unlocks are just the sombrero, 2 red shirts and 2 black shirts, right?

[QUOTE="JM_MUFC"]

Ok then guys im now like 18% into Red Dead Redemption and i have a few questions -

A) Are all the missions done with the backing of the lawmen or other people acting as back-up? (basically are there any missions in which you solo it)

B) Bonnies missions all ranch based? (cattle herding, horse breaking, stopping rustlers)

C) Good tactics for horse shoes? (vid maybe)

Also i just thought id mention if people are wanting the 'Gentlemens Attire' outfit, which allows access to high stake poker games in blackwater, then just register to the rockstar social club and when playing red dead redemption click 'start' 'socail club' then link your accounts and you get the outfit for free once you have linked your gt to your socail club acc.

Gen007

A) yeah of course there are solo missions but there are also alot of missions with other people.

B) For the most part but some arent. Her missions are kinda like training missions.

C) All i can say is aim at the center and make sure you a good amount of mometum. You should be trying to land the marker above the middle line.

Thanks, i just wanted to know as playing with backup is good but it slows you down. Bonnies missions are okay for a while but herding is just goddam annoying. I was practicing horseshoes again and i still cant get a ringer... costing me $1 a game too :) ima need to go hunting again to get some funds!

This is just as good if not better than the normal network connector, if you do not already own a connector then go for this one.

A lot of games get old after awhile. I have around 31 hours in single player, and probably around 15 hours in multiplayer. I'm still happy with my purchase and the upcoming DLC should be good. I kind of hope they do the same thing they did with GTA and make some episodes or something.

drunkenyak
Episoded would be good and i thought up some ideas for them too. I might e-mail them to Rockstar or something and see what they think, they can probably make something great of them like they always do with every game!

Not a chance after fail cry 2, i was looking forward to that game so much but when i started to play the characters looked like they were made from clay and the story was so boring it was the first 360 game i havent completed.
