@Orontes13: That's pretty harsh, but I'll agree that Rowling was at her height with Goblet of Fire. That remains her masterpiece. Despite the later books not quite measuring up to that, her writing nevertheless fleshed out an intriguing world we really didn't want to leave.

Good for him. By taking a stand, he helps ensure the quality of the Harry Potter franchise - should it continue at some point.

@lostn: I think this is an example of story elements getting rushed to fit into a set number of episodes. The book (whenever it comes out) should explore Arya's story arc in a lot more detail. And let's not forget that Bran's story arc has jumped all over the place chronologically. The events we see in a given episode do not always happen at the same time, and its pretty jarring.

@Orontes13: I was also confused by the final scene. I would have to see the episode again. So Dorne and Daenerys are together now? The scene was a bit rushed and not entirely clear to me.

@lostn: Try to remember that Square-Enix is only the publisher for this game, not its developer. They only have so much influence in how the final product turns out.

I suspect Final Fantasy XV will be received more favorably based on what I have seen so far. My only concern is that the combat may turn out to be too shallow to sustain 100 hours of content. We'll just have to see.

At a time when people are clamoring for more information on what this series is supposed to be about, this trailer gave us nothing but cheaply made music trying to sound epic. As if the CBS All Access exclusivity didn't give me enough to be concerned about. I don't have high expectations, folks. This coming from a lifetime Trekkie.

If this isn't Gran Turismo 7, then what exactly is "Sport" supposed to be? If this is another "prologue" game with a minimal selection of cars, I'm not going to be that interested. I like what I see, but I need to see more.

I still think there is a great video game movie out there that is waiting to be made. I'm just not sure Assassin's Creed is it. For a video game movie to do well, it has to do the things that other great movies do: weave an interesting tale with characters you care about. It cannot be just pure spectacle.

@hampton2003: In what way hasn't it aged well? I think Mortal Kombat still holds up as what it was intended to be: a campy action flick.

Wow. I never saw this coming, though maybe I should have. STO has come a long way since its release. Will the console servers be exclusive, or can existing PC accounts be used on the console versions?
