Dude, seriously. Pick up a dictionary because you don't know WTF you're talking about.: a⋅the⋅ism–noun 1. the doctrine or belief that there is no God. 2. disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings.

I know very well what I am talking about. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the concepts of "weak atheism" and "strong atheism".

No. Agnosticism means that you don't believe 100% either side; theists and atheists. If you are an agnostic, you aknowledge that there is no chance that you will know for sure in this life whether a god exists or not. That's not Atheism. Maybe the "soft" Atheism (or how it is called, I don't remember) is close to Agnosticism, but Agnosticism can not be characterized as Atheism. Surely definitions are not very strict, but I can not understand how someone might identify Agnosticism as Atheism.

It's atheism. You aren't religious - you just don't know if God exists or not.

accepting that there is religion, and that it is truth, but not following it.

That means you aren't religious.

Agnostics are atheists too.

No they aren't Atheists subscribe to the theory that there is no god, Period. Agnostics don't believe for not believe. They are open minded to either possibility.

You don't have to think that God doesn't exist to be an atheist. Atheism simply means to be without religion; it is a very open definition.
