That said though, Retro have proven their talents thrice now, they're certainly one of the top FPS/FPA developers around. If they could make an original FPS IP with online play, that'd be pretty awesome.

Can't say I've played any of the Rogue Leader/Squadron games, but the Turrican games were brilliant. The music especially. A 3D version would be pretty awesome, but even a new 2.5D game would rock.

Dunno where it'd pick up though, seeing as The Machine was killed at the end of Super Turrican 2.

There's been a few lately, but killer7 is probably the most recent and profound. The gameplay was average at best, but I couldn't put it down until I got to the end, to figure out what the heck it all meant, and to see what other disturbing surprises lay in store. It's quite fun trying to draw parallels and your own conclusions to such a warped, twisted reality.

Hence why I'm hyped for No More Heroes, if the story's anywhere near as good, day one purchase for me.
