Okay. YOU come up with an original idea when almost any conceivable concept that'd work as a game (let alone flourish commercially) has already been done. Bioshock, Zack & Wiki and similar games you're going to throw mud on may not be original, but they're still enjoyable and allow a newer audience to experience things they may not have previously. A game doesn't have to be revolutionary to be fun.

Several moments in killer7, including the plot and characters as a whole.

The talking decapitated politicians.

Curtis confronting Pedro on the squash court (a HUGE WTF moment for me).

Russian roulette with Benjamin.

Garcian's true identity and nature.

And, possibly most disconcertingly bizarre of all, Izawaru's (sp?) true identity. That one seriously came out of left field.

I understood MGS2's plot. I read 1200+ page James Clavell novels and got all the subtle intricies. Same with Stephen King's works and many of the connections between them. Yet I have no freaking idea what killer7 means, only relative ideas.

[QUOTE="Chutebox"]Show me a system that has more AAA games than crap games.XenogearsMaster

exactly

That was a bit too easy.

That is true but you can't deny that the Wii does get a lot of garbage, right?

And the PS2 didn't last gen? People didn't seem to care then, why now?

Sounds odd I know, but I like games where you can just stop near a lake or something and listen to the birds and the ripples of the water.Satanmar

Get Shadow of the Colossus. You won't regret it.

Killer7, in my opinion. The MGS series and Deus Ex are also up there, as is Shadow of the Colossus.

Rez, hands down. I love to give it a playthrough when I'm stressed, uptight, etc. Puts me into a state of mind where I can just euphorically drift off to sleep, or chill out without a worry in the world. Never gets old.

145. Apparently, getting smacked in the face with the butt of an assault rifle is more damaging to your health than actually getting mown down by its gunfire. (Streets of Rage 2)

146. Under no circumstances should a person ever even THINK about beating up chickens if they have any value for their own life. Seriously, just don't. (Legend of Zelda series)

147. You can slash, shoot, bludgeon, electrify, burn and otherwise open up a can of whoop-a** on your enemy as much as you like whilst dodging every attack they throw at you, yet you STILL lose at the battle's conclusion. (Devil May Cry 3)

148. As above, but instead of losing, you kill whatever enemy you're facing with just one bullet/swipe and possibly a horrendously lame one-liner despite it looking perfectly fine beforehand. (DMC 2 & 3)
