And lol at "we don't base the potential of team off indiviual series" You of all people say it all the time that a loss is a loss. Bottomline, They couldn't get it done. PSP107

You missed the point.

I'll just say the Nets look like they can do damage on paper, but we'll see if they can endure the 82 game season.  I'm not just going to blindly hype them up.  The bench looks pitiful as well.

And idk why you're so convinced West will walk, there isn't really a much better scene for him

West was a big part of the Pacers success. Losing him drops their rank unless they can find a replacement. Danny Granger to the rescue is a dream.

Also, why is everybody excited about the Nets? Garnet, Pierce and Terry lost to the Knicks in the playoffs while D-Will and Joe Johnson lost to bench players(Bulls).

PSP107

Cause we don't base the potential of a team off individual series.

So in the Bulls' case that's assuming Rose comes back 100% at the start of this season and they maintain the same roster?

Rose needs more help, I'm not sure he'll have another MVP season

Has Ray Allen and/or Shane Battier eaten a **** yet? pls

Major_Snake

Nah they'll be back next year to bring more misery upon rival fans.

Anyway, so far the East is looking like:

1. Heat

2. Pacers

3. Bulls

4. Nets

5. Knicks

6. Hawks

...

7-8 and the rest of the East will be a bunch of up and coming or rebuild mode teams.  I wonder who'll take the lower seeds, maybe the Raps and Wizards get in or maybe even the Cavs.

[QUOTE="TheWalkingGhost"][QUOTE="PSP107"]

Is that a healthy Bulls team? Because a healthy bulls team can beat the heat or take it to game 7. And dont bring up 2011 Eastern Confrence Finals because all 4 games Heat won was down to the wire. All the Heat had to do was have James on Rose and that was the series clincher because nobody else on the bulls could score on their on. Also 3 stars(James, Wade, Bosh) are better than one(Rose). Superstar calls does exist. 2012 could of been diffrent result but we will never know. 2013 resulted in the Bulls using their Bench players as the starters

But your right, The Bulls are playing cheap. i thought not resigning Asik was a mistake as Noah Foot problems seems to be a on and off thing. The playoffs showed us that depth is important. And the Bulls simply ran out of gas. lol@ Jimmy Butler playing 48mins a game while guarding Lebron James.

PSP107

That was a different team that played the Heat in the ECF that year, they were a lot deeper back then. The Bulls this time are older and are not as deep. The had a small window to win, and that window has closed. They need to make some changes, including some better outside shooters.

A year older but a year wiser. The Heat are also a year older. The Window is not closed yet as analyst agree that a Healthy Rose to go along with the current core that is also healthy has the better shot to beat the Heat. Personally the Brooklyn Celtics shouldnt really scare Pacers and Bulls.

Analysts

The biggest threat in the East is the Pacers.   Nets maybe too just because of that frontcourt.

Hey does anyone else think LA's whole "STAY D12" campaign is kinda sad and pathetic I'm sure Dwight loves attention but stuff like this just makes it look like the Lakers are getting on their knees and begging Dwight to stay. I'd expect something like that from the Cavs or Bobcats, not one of the most storied franchises in sports. JML897

Yeah its amusing though.  The fans went from crowning themselves last summer to pleading just to not be irrelevant next year.

It's funny that some people commenting on that video are saying things like "talk about cockiness and arrogance, now I really don't like him anymore". Jordan's been an arrogant dick for 30 years, if you're just finding that out now then you haven't been paying attentionJML897

Now imagine if LeBron carried that same attitude.

Would of made for some ugly reads if MJ played during the internet generation.

Yeah but you also have to take into account Bynum's attitude.  We can sit here and say we know Kobe will be back, why?  Because of his strong spirit to compete and a tremendous work ethic.

Bynum lacks both of those.

Injuries are part of the game, its how you bounce back from them.  Many guys don't have the willpower.
