The combat encounters are fantastic, are you high?

No they're not, not even close. Just when the action starts to pick up, the combat encounter ends. Imagine you're enjoying a nice juicy steak, but you only get two small bites out of it before it is snatched away from you. Your plate is then replaced with coleslaw (platforming) and bland mashed potatoes (narrative). That's what playing Uncharted 4 feels like.

Out of the 20 something shootouts you get in that game, only two of them are actually well made.

I still have a hard time thinking of Uncharted as a series or franchise.

Uncharted had one great game. Everything else is just okay.

UC4 shooting mechanics suck ass

I think the shooting itself is fine. Better then the average shooter if I'm being honest.

It's the actual combat encounters which are terrible. The majority of them are poorly paced and way too sparse for a 15 hour game.

We really don't need another Metro game. I would prefer that they tackle something different

Sorry I don't agree with The Witcher 3...personally I thought every single side quest had some meaning, even the contracts had some contextual meaning since you're a monster slayer... You don't have to ride your horse, simply reach a fast travel point (although console players will be waiting a full minute just to fast travel). Witcher 3 for me was the perfect open world game...Hell it was the best game I've ever played

Yeah...except Skellige with the shitload of pointless Smuggler's Caches that added nothing to the game aside from more stuff per square inch. Monster Contracts also got quickly samey and repetitive. Not saying it's not a great game but it's definitely got an issue with trying to fill the map with a lot of pointless stuff to make the game longer than it really is.

Yeah, Witcher 3's open world is good at simply stringing missions together. Actually exploring that world and being in it is is not all all that interesting or engaging.

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Simply being in that open world was amazing fun. Other then the Arkham games, I can't think of a super hero game better than this one.

EDIT: Forgot about Mercenaries. That's actually the best open world game I've ever played. Hulk is still pretty cool though.

I do this when I don't want to risk dealing with a bad PC port.

That doesn't happen often. It's usually for the games I get REALLY excited for.

Yup, it's really stupid. I wouldn't mind various smaller Metal Gear spin offs that build on the gameplay ideas of MGSV.

I didn't think they would throw all that away and just make a generic zombie game. What a complete waste.

Crap, I find myself playing through MGSV again. I should be finishing Mankind Divided, but meh, I'm starting to get pretty tired of it. It's pretty longwinded just like the last one.

Starting fresh with no FOB stuff and the hardcore mod installed. It's awesome, I don't have to artificially limit myself to make the game challenging now. I can go all out now without feeling overpowered. I swear, MGSV is a pretty awesome game with various small flaws that take it down a peg. Once you add user mods to the equation, it is easily one of the greatest games of all time.

I wish The Witness had more environmental puzzles.

The most fun I've had with this game so far was in the desert area. Everything else I've experienced so far are simple puzzles that don't take advantage of the game world.
