The final boss in that game is a real pain in the ass. I had to use all my ammo and every health item at my disposal to beat him. I was literally one hit away from dying as well. Talk about a difficulty spike, the rest of the game is a breeze in comparison.
I hate the beginning of Uncharted 2. It's so goddamn boring.
No it's not
It opens up with Drake climbing a destroyed train hanging off a cliff, and then it flashbacks to a bank heist, and then you get into multiple shootouts in the jungle.
The opening of Uncharted 2 is well paced and has a natural flow.
The idea of playing in any kind of 4K mode on the PS4 Pro sounds completely unappealing.
It's painfully obvious that it's not powerful enough for that resolution. Downsampled 1080p and 60FPS framerates is what this thing should be used for.
Uncharted 4 could give mgs4 a run for its money right now for how often I'm putting the controller down.
but unlike MGS4 you're not fist fighting someone who brainwashed himself to be your brother on the top of a giant war machine to the theme of past games in the franchise. UC4 loses.
Exactly
MGS4 is at least entertaining, even if most of it is complete bullshit. Uncharted 4 is like watching paint dry in comparison
I think the game has other problems besides just being cut up into different parts. Mankind Divided comes out five years after Human Revolution...and this is how it turns out? Besides the more open environments, it plays almost exactly the same as the last one. The storytelling is exactly the same (overeliance on drawn out dialogue and emails), the action is the same (bad shooter, decent stealth game) and the presentation is still stilited and clumsy (overused animations, all character exchanges look and feel exactly the same.)
Honestly, maybe it being cut up into parts was a good thing. Playing an even longer game with this game structure sounds very unappealing to me.
That "previously on Resident Evil" thing is dumb and unneeded. Besides that, it is easily one of the most tense and exciting opening sequences to a video game. Even when I replay it, the opening still manages to pull me in every single time.

Medal Of Honour: Frontline - The first level is freaking D Day, a brutal assault. I got slaughtered on that beach randomly so many times and loved every second.
I replayed that opening mission more then the actual game afterward. The rest of the campaign is pretty dull in comparison.
