The price for the Xbox 360 was revealed today and will come in two seperate packages, "Xbox 360 Core System" and "The Xbox 360."

The Xbox 360 Core System will include the following:

Xbox 360 Core System - $299 (299 Euros, 209 GBP)
•Xbox 360 console
•Wired controller
•Detachable faceplate
•Xbox Live Silver membership
•Standard AV cables

The Xbox 360 package will contain the following:

Xbox 360 - $399 (399 Euros, 279 GBP)
•Xbox 360 console
•20GB detachable hard drive
•Wireless controller
•Wireless Xbox Live headset
•High-definition AV cables
•Ethernet cable
•Xbox 360 Media Remote Control (limited time)
•Detachable faceplate
•Xbox Live Silver membership

I will personally be going with the $399 package because it seems to be a great deal. The Xbox Live Silver membership will cost $50 alone, which the $399 package will include. For a limited time, you can get the remote as well, which is $20 right there. An Ethernet cable will cost you about $10-$15. And on top of all that, you get the 20GB hard drive, which would be around $40. So all of this stuff seperatley would cost more than the extra $100 you'd pay for the $399 package.
