I have the HP D4100y. The case is huge. It has like 4 Disk slots, like 3-4 HDD slots and the MOBO in it at the moment has 1 PCI-E X16 slot, 2PCI-E X1 slots, and 5 PCI slots.

My Case is HUGE!!

How can I tell What kind ofForm Factor is actually in my PC?

On the HP support site, it says the MOBO in right now is a Micro-ATX 9.6" X 9.6" It also has a PCI expansion slot that has an addition2 PCI slots making the total 5 slots.

I am wanting to upgrade my MOBO so I can get an E6600 C2D. I am looking at getthing is aGigabyte GA-965P-DS3http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128042

It says that the MOBO that I want to get has a Form Factor ATX 12" x 9.6"

Should it still be able to fit since my case is huge? I'm just thinking that it currently has a small MOBO in it at the time but it should be able to fit a larger one. It has an expansion slot added to it at the moment so I think it would fit.

I just want to upgrade but am now worried that it won't fit. Please help if you have any advice.

Thanks

I have a 400W power supply and am getting an 8800gts that has a 400W PSU. should a 400W PSU be ok since it's also running the rest of my hardware? Thanks.

I have a 400W power supply. If my vid card requires a 400W PSU, should I be fine? Or should I also compensate for the other things running like CPU, RAM, etc....?

Well I'll be getting a new mobo that I know will run 800, it's just that I alrdy own 1 gig of 533. So i just don't know if I should save and just get 1 gig of 533 or just buy 800 if there will be some kind of big noticeable difference.

I already have 1 gig of DDR2 ram which I think is 533Mhz (it came with my HP so i bett it's not the higher end.) WI am wanting to get 2 gigs of ram. Would it be smarter for me to just get an extra gig of 533mhz of memeory, or quit using that ram and spend a lot more on getting DDR2 800mz ram? Would I notice a big difference in games?

Thanks.
