Far Cry 2 ate my game save on the last mission before the ending missions (Slave Outpost, Break Factions, Help Reuben). So now I have to start the game all over again to finish the story, the assassin missions and my Jackal tapes for my trophies, just my luck.

I can't get 'Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic', 'Taking it for the team' and 'Fly the Co-op because nobody plays GTA online anymore, and even if they do, they are not very good :?. So I need help. I need someone to help me win every non-team based game including all of the different race tracks. We can take turns in winning and therefore we both get the trophy. Then I need maybe four people including myself to do all the team based games. Once that is out of the way we can work together to beat Rockstar's times for their Co-op multiplayer modes to get 'Fly the Co-op'. Then if you finish the story to 100% you get a platinum (I already have the singleplayer trophies). Can a few people help me? Because I am sick on waiting in empty lobbies.

I decided not to get a gaming rig because of all the trouble it would make for me. E.g. A new graphics card > new processor > higher power supply > new case. So instead of upgrading my current computer I am going to buy a new one...next year. After making this decision, I pondered whether or not it would be a good idea to buy a new console. But if I was to get one, I don't know which one to get. I ended up doing some research and ended up with the following

I just wanted to know whether I could upgrade my graphics card to a Geforce 9800 GTX plus and be able to use it efficiently. My current processing system is:

Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz (YES IT IS FROM THE THIRD WORLD)

I'm guessing it isn't going to work out so I might also upgrade my processor to a Dual Core. e.g. Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz (2 CPUs). Or maybe a Quad Core is my power supply is decent and if I feel ambitious.

Hopefully I can upgrade soon so I can do some of this :D

Over the weekend I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I must say, it was really bland. I was never a fan of the series but I expected more. The movie is a two and a half hour 'trailer' for the next movie as the conflict was not resolved at the end of the film. It also has a habit of putting me to sleep and deviating of the plot into a teen romance story. Even the most 'die-hard' Harry Potter fan would not enjoy this movie to the full extent.

Even if I do not like the plot of the movie, I do like the characters. Dumbledore, Slughorn and Snape are all great in the movie but on occasions, get left in the background.

Finally the last aspect that I was some what disappointed about was the lack of computer generated mythical creatures. The Dragon, Centaur and Basilisk were all displayed in previous films but this time there is only a dead spider. :(

Overall: There is nothing special here, just move along.

I'm not sure, but I think Treyarch snuffed my Platinum trophy away from me in Call of Duty: World At War. I only had four veteran missions to complete before I reached my Platinum but now there are many more trophies due to Map Pack 2. Does this mean I HAVE to buy Map Pack 2 in order to get my Platinum trophy? I don't really want to buy it because I don't spend much time on multiplayer as I enjoy COD4 much more.

So does anyone know if DLC (Downloaded content) trophies count towards Platinum? If you do, please comment.

Haven't been doing much on Gamespot recently, but now I might start posting in forums, watching videos, joining competitions and above all else, rejoining this community.

The main reason this blog is even here is because I bought a few great games these holidays:

They are all great, and are definitely worth buying if you have a PC, PS3 or 360. With the exclusion of Killzone 2 which is a PlayStation only exclusive. In Far Cry 2, you get to explore the vast environment of Africa, including forests, savannahs and deserts, while you hunt down the man known only as 'The Jackal' who is an arms dealer. The amount of realism in the game is incredible, guns can rust, jam and eventually break. If you fall, you might have to snap a broken ankle into place, there is so many possibilities. Killzone 2 is also a great shooter but it is more straight forward and there is no sandbox element. Finally there is The Orange Box, which I happily bought just for Team Fortress 2 and Portal. I never really liked Half Life and I still don't like it. Portal was short but enjoyable, but the main reason why I bought it is because of Team Fortress 2, which is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played! Valve has retained the FPS genre with a quirky multiplayer game that plenty of people should buy. I will go into more details when I review all three of these games...sometime...soon...
