And for cs2, I would reccomend you get elements 4.0 not 5.0, 5.0 is trash. 4.0, because it teaches you as you go along, and theres a veriety of nice presets , see this sig here? I made it mostly in elements and some tuning in cs2, it doesn't really matter to me. Because cs2, big differences are thing I don't really use like the major pen tool, which I don't use often, the warp function, and some perspective options. Its not too much, and yeah. Google some guides for cs2, if you really want to get started with the more complicated one, they are pretty much identical anyways.
LOL no get the 4 gigs of slower ram, when it comes to ram more is better than speed, but you will need a 64 bit os to actually see all the 4 gigs of ram, you will only see 2.75 gigs, windows will lock it at that. Unless you have a 64 bit version. I would go with teh 4 gigs, DDR2 800 is the best, no reason to get fast ram that will be useless.
My system is a ram hog it uses 700 megs idle, and this is xp I don't know why it does this so I kinda reccomend 2 gigs if you do alot of stuff. 2 gigs isn't cutting it for me I do alot of video editing, and 2 gigs gets wiped out in about 35 seconds timed...
Well i have had a dvd for my computer that did not work unless you installed drivers for them, you would need to install them once you got into windows, so do you have any cd drive laying around that you can use thats not dvd>?
I get that error alot in cs;s and a few other games I dunno why it happens, but mine usually goes away if i restart, or close as many applications as possible, so i would reccomend closing all applications that are running, and try doing whatever, i barely read it so don't flame me x-D

Do not buy that trash heap you want to know what it did, it was runing crpapy for 2 months, then it burned my motherboard 4 pin to the cpu and smoke was coming and crap, it has no pfc to monitor what its doing. It killed my motherboard, I dunno about my cpu it was a 3.6 ghz p4 oced to 4.1 ghzÂ
Well, just get the better ram, getting lower voltage means the ram requires less power which is good. you usually want to get the lowest volt as possible
