Yes, Jerian, but just cause it's last gen doesn't mean people don't care. It's not substantial news for a game to look better on a next gen system. It is substantial for a games sequel using the same engine to look better than the previous game on that same console.
I think if the publishers and developers will save a lot of money, and prefer this, then it's better for the industry as a whole. Even if I worked in the video game industry, E3 just became too overcrowded and too hectic for anyone to enjoy. If anything, this might be better for video game fans since it might open up the opportunity for other video game conventions that might be open to the public.
