This story definitely looks to be more interesting than the one in GTA 4. Niko is a great guy but the story wasn't the greatest. Most of the bits were relatively uninspiring. My favourite one was the bank mission so it's a good thing this game seems to be mostly robbing shit. :D
@Mevrick @PeejayYeh When I was 8 I doubt I even thought about death.
"Every person in a very early age knows the difference between good and bad" Well, that would depend on the parenting. Morality is learned so if you have immoral parents then the child will also gain immorality.
I doubt that kids playing violent games at the age of 8 really understand that what they are doing is virtually "killing" people.
@Mevrick Most likely the kid didn't even conprehend what he was about to do. He probably thought it would be fun to point a gun and shoot as he had seen it on GTA and (since he has access to that) any violent movies he or his parents watch.
"Although a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time". Considering the Kid is 8, it's unlikely that they had a motive. Most likely they just picked up the gun and thought it would be fun to point and shoot, not realising the consequences.
Surely there's an issue here of why the kid played GTA IV to begin with and also the child's access to a gun. Both are require for over 18's and that is over double the kid's age. Glad to know people have their priorities right!
