Is this the big PS Plus surprise they where talking about? I'm really not impressed. Most of those games are meh at best. Saints Row 2(which has no trophies) is already free for people that own Saints Row 3 and I don't think this is for european customers. US offer only.

I'm not a fan of the idea of digital-only consoles. Internet speeds/connectivity aside, this strategy is very anti-consumer. If it weren't for me having the freedom to play a game and trade it in towards a new game then I wouldn't have played well over 100 titles on my PS3. I do own a fair number of digital-only titles and I don't really have anything against them other than the fact that once the game is done and over I rarely go back to the title so it just sits there. Essentially, a digital game is worth $0.00 on my hard drive whereas a physical game is always worth something (unless it's a 5 year old Madden title).

Plus, if anyone has noticed, the PSN store doesn't discount their digital copies very often. Except at the launch of a game, the digital game on the PSN store is well above the price of the physical copy you can find at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or other retail locations. Sony also said that they would discount VITA games on the PSN store compared to their physical copy and not only is this not the case for all titles but the discount is MAYBE $5.00! When you add how much memory cards cost that $5.00 is not worth it when you could easily trade in the game for more than that amount and keep that card free of space.

Bottom line is consoles aren't portable devices like a vita or iphone so I think the idea of expensive, worthless digital files would be a very damaging strategy for any console maker for the forseeable future.

You should have done it a month ago you could have got Jurassic Park episodes all for you, Battle Fantasia, Far Cry 2, the whole Resident Evil PS1 collction Inferno pool and argh i lost count lol.. but yeah those will be free for you to play at anytime as long as your a + member.

The numbers for the PS Vita's launch in France are in, and they're... terrible.

The system sold 66,000 units in its launch month in France. Sounds good, right? Wrong.

As French economic newspaper Les Echos reveals, this is the single worst launch for any system in France in history.

Of those 66,000 units, a full 42,000 units were sold in the first week, pointing to a tapering interest in the system. Last week, the system sold only 5,000 units in the country, and was outsold by the 3DS.

Things like this have already started to happen to a system that is barely a month old, in its strongest territory (remember, mainland Europe is Sony land)... the Vita has had a horrible launch worldwide, in every single territory, worse than the 3DS, and this is just bizarre, given the fact that the 3DS launched at the same price with inferior tech, a pathetic launch lineup, most of its functionality missing, and more. The Vita launches with state of the art hardware and some great hardware, and it flounders.

The Vita's future may be very bleak.

To summarize:

• PS Vita sells poorly in France
• France is the second biggest EU market, and fourth biggest worldwide
• France is part of Europe, which has been Sony's stronghold since 1995
• PS Vita's launch in France is the poorest launch for a system in the country in history
• It is already being outsold by the 3DS

Sony needs to do something, and fast.

Quite interesting and makes a lot of sense. I'm fine with the ending, I'm not sure what more people want, and i'm glad I chose to fight in the Indoctrination! Makes me wonder though..what REALLY happened after Shepard wakes up :O

CNET is stupid and shouldn't be taken serious at all. The 3ds is doing well and am I loving RE and mario kart. The Vita while it has great hardware is lacking in games plain and simple. the 1.4 games attachment ratio is proof of this. I have yet to buy a game for it, but I do giveprops to sony for having plenty of demos and other things i can downlod to keep me busy. on a side note its not that games like uncharted aren't good just not 50$ good i would gladly pick it up for 25$. cause single player with a script that does not live up to series and no multi just seems like a rip off at $50
