Time to play DEVIL'S ADVOCATE!!! I hear what this guy is saying. Fact is, kids are impressionable. If there is no positive adult figure or other source to instill in them how you're supposed to behave in public or private, then sometimes there will be problems with kids initiating lethal violence. It's easy to see that this is true. Names like Daniel Petric and Devin Thompson among the most notable. These are rarities, but they lend credence to the stories that governors use to push their agendas. However, they are ultimately targeting, not videogames per se, but the sickness of our society in general. Even mental treatment therapy isn't the right approach to take. Parents these days say they want their kids to be "happy", but you can't make someone be happy. Ultimately, it is a parents job to instill values in their children and then allow them to make the choices to find happiness on their own. Societal values are actually something that many people get angry about because they feel as though their freedom is being taken away, but what kind of society are we allowing one another to be "free" in if we allow one other to be so hateful towards our fellow man and woman? I'd like to hear responses to this. Actual logical ones would be even better.
Truthfully, his new look is pretty stylish for a male vidgame protagonist. It's multipurpose too! Won't get in his eyes while fighting, and he can totally rock it at a club or other social scene. It's just a kick in the teeth at first since it's so different from his roots. I think it would have gone over with people better if it had been white still. I enjoy change though. Things that look the same forever are ok, but reliability does tend to get old. I even think Link needs a new outfit.
@Mr_Big_Boss @JukedSolid probably just a rumor that stemmed from the "play steam games on your ps3" but that one was also debunked since pc and ps3 games are coded differently
My first game was Link to the Past on the SNES so I'll be looking forward to any LoZ photo features :) by the way, Ebert wasn't the one who died was he?
