I know it sucks!! I was playing a barbarian and it was actually quite fun. I think my first hero I will try with the actual game will be monk as lots of people are having fun with it. I wish I tried it in the beta but I didn't know it was ending at 10am where I am from, but oh well it's coming out soon!
I downloaded both Tera open beta and SWTOR free weekend. I spent more time with SWTOR. Tera is easily the best looking MMO out there, but its not great mmo. The *only* thing it has going for it is that its combat is much more real-time and action based. Everything else is a step back in the MMO fashion.
Everything is just the same "Kill X of BaddieA" followed by "Kill X of BaddieB" followed by "Kill X of Tough BaddieA wich is exactly like BaddieA with one or two levels higher" and repeat. There were very few quests outside of this type to break the monotony. Enemies seemed share the same issue of lack of variety. There were pretty much only two kinds of enemies; a single enemy or a master-minion type. You fought every enemy one at a time or as a single enemy with 5 - 8 little mini enemies. The game basically reeks of what it is: A korean grindfest converted and slightly adjusted for the US market.
I havent played GW2, but from the few hours of videos i've seen, i think it has a much more promising future.

So as most of you know Tera is released on May 1 and this weekened was the open beta. I just wanted to hear some of your thoughts on Tera and how you think it will compare to Guild Wars 2. I am most likely going to preorder GW2 digital deluxe very soon, but after watching some videos of Tera it actually looks like a good game.
I just got the beta and, so far im having fun with it. I have just been playing by myself, but if you were playing with friends it would be alot better.
