Sorry, budget says I can only keep one or the other. I went the PS3 route cause I have a setup (HDTV, headset, fiber cable for surround sound) all ready to go now.

I have defeated: Gears of War, Forza 2, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Overlord, Crackdown, Viva Pinata, Halo and Halo 2 BC and PDZ (worst game I have ever played, I mean that).

I have one last chance to run to blockbuster and pick up a 360 game for the evening before trading the system for store credit in favor of becoming a PS3 exclusive gamer. I have no interest in Halo 3 or Mass Effect so buh-bye.

I need to know, is there any game I should go get right now for 360 that I can't get on PS3. One last night, at least the credit pays for Warhawk, Lair and Heavenly Sword (maybe Ratchet and Clank as well with the games I got to trade-in).

I got my Xbox 360 on November 12, 2006. I had not even gotten my first job at that time, so it was a major purchase for me. It worked till about mid-February. Then I got the red ring of death, and immediately tried to figure out what was wrong, but I couldn't. I thought I was out of the warranty period, but unbeknownst to me, Microsoft had extended the warranty period to a full year instead of 90 days. When I called, I did get someone whose command of English was limited, but I still was able to get them to send me a box to mail the Xbox back for repair. I got the box about a week later, and it said Cliff instead of Chris, but this was no obstacle. I sent the Xbox out and they returned it to me (mine, not a totally new console, could tell by slight scuff it had when i sent it out)fully functional in about 3 weeks. I have had no problems with my Xbox since, so I don't worry about it any more.

I see a lot of PS3fanboys making gross generalizations and arguing based anecdotal evidence, i.e.horror stories, but my experience was much more positive. The total time I personally spent resolving the problem (including self-troubleshooting, phone calls, unplugging, boxing, unboxing, hooking it up, etc.) was less than 1.5 hours. By comparison with the great games I've played, this issue is insignificant.

I'm tired of seeing "but teh hardware failures" threads that ignore the complexity of the issue (the actual failure rates, the extension of the warranty, prevelance of problems on older consoles, etc.)Those TCs are trolls who are merely trying to distract from their ownsystem's inadequacies.

I had a great service. The woman was really nice and patient.

I bought my 2 premiums off ebay at launch, and I needed to send them in. But they were registered to the previous owners so she asked if i still had all the information for the purchase. I looked and she stayed on the line, but I told her i couldn't find it. So she just registered both consoles to my name and to my house with no problems.

And they all speak English...you're just being a bigot.

and I didn't even have to say what was wrong with my 360, she just got right to the point, asked for my information and etc. I just told her they got the red rings, and she didn't ask why, or if I did anything to it, nothing.

I honestly don't believe you, because I received excellent service. And my 360's were back in 12 days after I shipped them out. And I got the new Heatsync as well.
