Xbox Live was available at launch. It was up and running and full of stuff to download from day one.

Actually xbox live was offered late 2002, about one year after the xbox launched...

No one should flame you for what was said.

Look at it objectively. The best selling SKU of the 360 is the elite which is just under 500 dollars, so that's obviously not out of many gamer's budgets. On top of that the PS3 has/will have the following advantages.

• Vastly superior hardware (cell, blu ray, HDMI 1.3 etc)
• More reliable hardware
• More Advanced rumble AND limited motion control
• Free online with a superior interface and dedicated servers

In addition we are seeing the first examples of multiplatform software that is as good as, or better than its 360 equivelant (Rainbow Sic, Oblivion etc). The exclusive games this year may be pretty poor (lol @ heavenly sword, motorstorm and lair) but next year we are due to see some SPECTACULAR titles that match anything on the 360 (heavy rain, FF13, White Knight Story, GT5, LBP etc) and unlike many of the "exclusive" games on the 360, we will not be seeing PC versions of said titles. With amazing titles titles like Bioshock also rumoured to be coming to the PS3 as well as few BIG exclusives from the likes of Bioware and Epic i think it's safe to say that thet the console wars are FAR from over.

And 360 games that go to the PC doesn't mean it's not exclusive anymore. MS still makes money.

The 360's that were unreliable were the launch systems. I haven't seen or heard of any elites having hardware problems.

Ah well Soccom is fun, and online vs GRAW 360... well im not too sure - it could possibly be better.

But neither are realistic games, they are both arcadey tactical shooters.

Want realistic tactical shooters? SWAT4, Rainbow 6 Raven Shield, Armed Assault.

GRAW is a very realistic shooter...have you played it on the higest difficulty? One shot and you're dead. Even the online is realistic. If the online was made by the same dev team it would have been better I'm sure.

Fightin' words from Wells, and interesting insights from Balestra about the degree to which dev's have been able to exploit the Playstation 3. Note that "getting better" may not necessarily mean that the next Naughty Dog game will look twice as good as Uncharted, as they're talking about the cell, not the RSX.

Also, if you watch the video there is some new footage of Uncharted.
