Since it is a game made by same people who did Indigo Prophecy it is probably more of interactive movie than a game. Which I enjoy very much.

Which means it fits in perfectly with Metal Gear Solid...

Got to admit, this doesn't bother me. We know next to nothing about the game apart from a game made by the same devs, and definitely not enough to be upset about it moving around. If it's good I will buy it, if it's not I won't. Admittedly I'm in a different situation because I own the 360 and PS3, but it's really not a huge deal.

No MGS is just a game with long cut scenes (Which I also enjoy very much)

Indigo prophecy was really really interactive movie. I can't think of other way of putting it.

Anyways, it does kinda suck that Spore keeps getting delayed. Still, if it even close to being as good as expected, Spore could be one of the best games this generation.

Dude it's system wars...who cares? You know it could have been 10x worse, that wasn't even that bad, at all.

I have been -hyped- about Spore for since Spring of 2005. That is 2 years ago. And have been denied speculated releases for the last year. Now it's apparent that it will not be out until fiscal 2009? That's what, anywhere from 2008 spring to 2009 spring? This game has a lot of potential, a LOT, and it drives me crazy knowing that this ridiculously long wait is doing nothing but: A- Frustrating fans to a point of disinterest or B- Hyping it up to a level that it may never reach.


What are your thoughts?

News to me.

I loved the single player, but honestly the multiplayer is not competitive. There is no reason to play unranked games because you can not go down a rank, the more you play the higher you become ranked. On top of that people go crazy if you take a weapon they want just because they are trying to get some dumb achievement. This makes Gears of War barely competitive. The levels are also pretty bland. If you compare this game to halo 2 online its clear that Gears is just not worth playing, at-least if your looking for competitionPok3master
