bronies creep me out.

Frame_Dragger

Why? Is this pedophile paranoia?

You realize that in this whole thread, you're the only one who broached the subject of pedophilia? I have no clue why you leapt from there being some really disturbing sexual morays in the "brony" world, to pedophilia. From what I've read of the relevant fan-fiction, and on sites pedophilia isn't the issue, it's people wanting to see the ponies ****. Or be ponies... ****ing. The usual furry bull****, you know.

A less charitable person than myself would start to wonder why you keep raising the issue of pedophilia, unprompted. :o

I'm not sure if this is it; I can't quite put my finger on what it is that weirds me out, but you might be close to the truth....

[QUOTE="thegerg"]

Civil rights work, law, teaching, psychology, social work, history fields...just to name a few.

thegerg

CRW doesn't pay, law requires degrees in law

Social work and psychology require degrees in psychology

Teaching requires a teaching degree

History pays crap and requires a degree in history.

This degree covers none of this.

Such studies would be useful in these fields, which was what you asked.

except nobody in these fields would hire because they require specific degrees, not irrelevant degrees.

Thought so.

I already said I have.

In this very thread. :P

Then you won't have any trouble doing it again.

I do think colleges should be more honest about their degree programs and explain to people that some degrees are more useful than others. LBGT studies or whatever is a joke of a degree and I feel bad for the people who are majoring in that, I think the issue is that alot of young people are told that college is important, which it kinda is, but then they think that just because you go to college it makes you successful just because you have a degree. Well sorry but if your going to major in LBGT studies or something like that, your better off not going to college.

Teenaged

This, whether people want to admit it or not.

Some of you are just too idealistic to argue with.

This degree is useless, plain and simple.

Teenaged

In your opinion maybe.

Having a different approcah than yours in regards to education doesnt make one idealistic.

My approach is just closer to reality

In reality, this degree has no value, and gullible idealistic students will end up wasting 4 years of their life.
