@Thanatos2k: How does one keep a drunk person away from a car? The government can't do that. Friends can, sure but that's the best we can do.

@danmonger: I'm a staunch supporter of the 2A but even I know that background checks are logical. It may have stopped this but even a nerd like me knows where to obtain a gun off the books. It's not hard if you know the right people.

@jedijax: It's a mental health problem. No gun has ever killed anyone without the aid of an evil or unstable person.

@nilsdoen: So when a criminal with an illegally obtained weapon shows up at your house and wants your possessions, what do you do? Fight him with a kitchen knife? No you should be able to protect yourself with a gun. You know, like the police do minus the 30 minute response time.

@jaydee4: It's clearly a mental health issue but stupid politicians are using this as justification to disarm its population instead of fixing the root cause. No gun has ever shot and killed someone without the help of an evil person.

@xnshd: A niche, original IP selling 5M is pretty damn good regardless. The only new IP that has sold that well in the last 5 years was Horizon Zero Dawn and that has VASTLY more mass appeal than an artsy walking sim and is also a much better game overall.

@xnshd: For as much blind hate the game gets coupled with its niche audience, 5M is very impressive. Even Halo 1, Gears 1, and Assassins Creed 1 were only able to sell ~5M copies and those games were as mainstream as it gets and marketed like crazy.

@illegal_peanut: SE loves surveys and focus groups. I got paid $300 to play and critique The Last of Us Part 2 (yeah I know it's not their game. I was surprised too) and they offered to pay me for Avengers but I have no interest in that crap.
