@Spartan_418: I’m not disputing that it COULD do 1080p in handheld mode. Nintendo is a very conservative-minded company. I would imagine they would opt to keep it at 720 to increase battery life, improve performance, and cut costs. If there was a choice between 1080/30fps and 720/60fps, the better option for most 3D games is the latter.

@n0matter: well duh they’re not gonna reveal their sources. Then the leaker would be fired for breaking their NDA.

@Spartan_418: honestly, I think it will still be 720 but they will remove the bezel and give you an extra inch. I’d like to think games would start running at 60 FPS more which would be preferable for me over resolution.

@id0ntkn0w7: They took the neutral route and that’s fine I suppose. This is a gaming site, not a political site. Just look at what happened to IGN when they took a strong partisan stance on Israel/Palestine.
