@Theinfmustroll: Are people still crying about that? No one complained when you had to kill dogs in games in the past like, say, Tomb Raider or Resident Evil.
@Antarte: The problem is that every time I say I loved the game, I get called a shill, liar, sheep, have bad taste in games, deserve to die, sucking Druckmann's d!ck, etc. That's why I don't even bother to discuss the game anymore. I had a blast remotely talking about it in a focus group during the launch week and it was refreshing to discuss it with actual people and not faceless internet trolls.
@sippio: Freedom of speech applies to the government only. Private companies have absolutely no obligation to extend that right to their platforms. They were leaking and discussing stolen information so there was nothing wrong with what they did.
@batusai4ever: I put like 20 hours into Odyssey before getting bored of all the filler missions. The combat and controls are still not great and now you can just climb any surface regardless of whether there are visible handholds? Wtf? Combat has been devolving into meat sponge hack and slash since Unity. GOT is vastly superior in every regard, especially now that I’ve played it for myself.
@Destructionzz: it got review bombed with 100,000 reviews. That’s gotta be some kind of record. Anyone who gives the game a zero is just being dishonest. The game gets far more right than it gets wrong. I get some people are upset with the story but I still say it’s better than majority of video game writing. Most video game writing is cringey at best while Ellie and Joel could win Oscars for their performances. Abby > Ellie. You can’t change my mind.
@Atzenkiller: All the PS3 assassins creeds can be beaten in under 20 hours. God of War games prior to the new one were all under 10 hours. Basically every non-RPG, non-open world FPS is less than 10 hours. Basically anything that isn't open world with tons of filler is less than 20 hours.
Except TLOU2. That game was 27-30 and its linear with zero backtracking (except that one small open area in seattle day one).
