@nilsdoen: The story is far from shitty and U4 has some of the best character development in gaming (for a 10 hour game. It's unfair to compare to a 50-100 hour RPG). Maybe you will enjoy them as an adult. Personally, I think the story is better than the very dated Indiana Jones movies, but storytelling and writing has come a long way in the 20 years between The Last Crusade and Uncharted 1. Uncharted has some of the most well written and clever dialogue in the entire gaming industry.
@n64ra: Considering Uncharted 4 sold like gangbusters, most people will be taking the $10 upgrade option. Hell, just get a cheap used PS4 copy on disc for $10 and then upgrade.
@gr4h4m833zy: yeah for real. If ND didn't jump ahead to the train sequence, the beginning of Uncharted 2 is pretty slow too. The Turkey chapter is the worst part of the game.
@RSM-HQ: Yeah but most Uncharted fans play it FOR the narrative and cinematic experience, not the gunplay (which is leagues better than U2 or 3). For game narrative-driven games like uncharted, it is best in class.
@asnakeneverdies: you know, despite not being a good RE game, 5 is a damn good co-op action game. I played the whole game with my brother multiple times and it never gets old. Playing it alone… yeah it’s just okay I guess. Nothing special. There’s just something about playing with a competent partner that makes the game truly shine.
@goldenageplayer: Since you brought up Silent Hill, I'm curious... I liked 1-4 a lot but didn't play anything past that. Were any of the non-numbered ones worth playing?
