game is super tough and I am only playing it on Hard.

I like the ability to change the difficulty whenver you want. I had to knock it down to casual for one fight in ozgrammar for a few reasons (bad save + no healer/lack of potions) and if I was not able to I would have had to restart the game and I was like 30 hours in!

Gameplay? I would say that it reminds me very much of World of Warcraft.

Fantastic cut scenes and story too so far and I am only half way though :)

killzone 2 is a great FPS. The single player campaign is a good time (difficult too) and the online multiplayer is awsome too.

IMO they should never have touched the controls from the very beginning but all the COD fanboys started their complaining.

game looks awsome too.

If you do buy one please buy the official psn one. I am sick and tired of hearing all these kids/people with their usb headsets or other random headsets that sound like utter cr@p. All you can hear is flipping static and a few random words everynow and then.

first time I updated MW2 this was happening to me. For one reason or another after a day or so it went away and I have not had any problems since then.

huge yes from me.

I suggest you watch gameplay videos of the console versions though to get an idea of what you are getting in to.

no offense to anyone but does anyone remember when the Sega Genesis was out and most new games for that cost $99.99. I remember paying $99.99 for Mortal Kombat 3 when it first came out. Now we are 5 console generations ahead of that and people are complaining that they pay $30 less for these games. Just seems kinda funny to me. Anyways, I think $60 is worth it. I would pay up to $100 per game if I had to. Man I remember my parents buying me Mega Man 6 for NES for $69.99 back in the day. So I think any PS3 game at that price is awesome.Sure I would love games to be cheaper. Who wouldn't but when you think about it. Games are cheaper now than what they used to be. At least where I am from.(Canada).

mrgray187

Yes I recall paying 99+ for Sega games and paying like 84.99 for the first mario party on the N64. These people complaining about games being too expensive are just plain old CHEAP. Heck, I remember paying like 59.99+ for flipping BLACK AND WHITE gameboy games.

As for your question OP. The game is CERTAINLY worth 60$. First play through you will probably rack up 60+ hours of play and then you have the options of playing some more with different classes...races and such.

it can be a bit jumpy from time to time on PS3, but it doesn't really matter. If you let something as minor as a few drops in framerate here and there deter you from experiencing and enjoying a great game such as this then that's your own foolish mistake. However, one issue I've come across that's a little inexcusable is from time to time when a character is talking... they aren't. Basically, their mouths move, the camera gets all dramatic, their emotions change on their faces... and no voice. I feel this a bit more of an issue than a tiny amount of stuttering because you could be potentially missing out on important plot information because the character suddenly decided to become mute. One thing that's strange about the voice drop outs is that it's not always in the same spot with the same characters. At one point I had a dropout from character A, went on a bit, got murdered and had to reload. Then when they got to the same point in the dialogue, they had no problems speaking freely. Probably just some kind of programming bug, nothing a patch can't fix (but annoying nonetheless). TL;DR some sound issues detract from the story and may cripple playability/enjoyment a bit, but the FPS issue is quite the contrary... a non-issue. OH GOD IT SLOWED DOWN A BIT AND I HAD TO WATCH MY DUDE SKIP HIS STEP AND JUST APPEAR A FOOT AHEAD OF WHERE HE WAS! ALTHOUGH THIS TAKES NOTHING AWAY FROM THE STORY OR REAL GAMEPLAY... SCREW THIS GAME! I'LL JUST GO OUT AND SPEND BUTTLOADS ON AN OVER THE TOP PC GAMING RIG TO GET STEADY 60FPS! IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT LULZrikguenther

Ive experienced that talking glitch you speak of too. The way I fixed it so that I wouldnt miss any dialogue was just to put subtitles on when talking with another character.

I got DA on the 3rd and boy am I happy. Tho only 5 hours or so into the game I am enjoying the experience. What a well built game, although sometimes choppy during cutscenes. The simple flaws can be overlooked from the storytelling.

Question: What origin story did you choose? And what class? I myself went with the elf mage origin, and will specialize in shapeshifting (top dps). I was really torn as arcane warrior and blood mage seem really fun. My only issue is the sheer number of spells I can learn vs my hot keys. I can have 6 spells hotkeyed via my DS3, is that all I can do? It makes it feel very limited, I hope this mod support for ps3 isnt a pipe dream.

canoecamue

you actually can have 12 if you don't mind an extra step. You have 6 per weapon set, so when you change weapon set from say melee to ranged you can have 6 different hotkeys. Kind of lame if you only really specialize with one weapon or weapon set, but nice if you have different tactics with a bow as opposed to a sword.

As for my character I went with a city elf rogue who strongly dislikes humans (as I dictate with my dialogue choices). I'll probably either be assassin (if i get around to making more poisons) or a duelist. One thing I'll recommend to everyone is for the love of Pete, MAKE A CRAP LOAD OF HEALTH POTIONS. You can never have too many, and ALWAYS be sure to have your allies gambits set to use one when their health gets a little low and PUT IT IN THE FIRST SLOT so they will heal before they attack. That and don't rush and please plan ahead.

Nice, I didnt realize you could do this. I wonder if I can make 2 identical weapon sets and have diffrent hotkeys for each? Or would I need 2 sets of the same gear?

If you want to set up 12 hotkeys for your warrior and you only use one weapon, you would have to find the identical weapon and equip it in your secondary slot.
