Well, no matter what they're charging for, there's some newer content in these videos that I haven't seen before, so it's even better now in my mind than it was 10 minutes ago!
I don't even need a gaming system or pc to play strategy games. My house is so cluttered and junky that when I get home from work it's a strategy game to figure out how to walk around without causing an avalanche or tripping and getting killed.
The game has multiple difficulty levels:
Easy difficulty - Getting to the couch to watch tv
Medium difficulty - Getting to the kitchen to get hot pockets and beer (all I have right now)
Hard difficulty - Finding the bed and clearing enough space off to sleep on it
Insane difficulty - Taking out the garbage. Not only is it nearly impossible to carry the bag of trash to the front door, I'm usually confused about which bags in the house are trash and which are just bags of junk. Usually I can just tell by seeing which ones smell like rotten rancid moldy garbage.

You know, I think EA made a game like this and it tanked, even though it should have appealed to so many college students! Dang you EA!!!
I started to get into this kind of habit, but that didn't sit well with me being border lined OCD, so I force myself to play through one before I install another. As for unstarted games, that's a different question!
I know that I once had a computer that would constantly crash and act all funky, when I opened it up to take a look inside, a big fat spider had crawled onto one of the memory sticks and shorted it out... So yeah, having bugs is not always a metephor when it comes to computers :P
Thanks, at least it doesn't LOOK horrible. I'm really hoping this one is much better than I've been expecting. Will it be EA strikes again? We shall see...
There was also Space Rangers 2, it was normally a turn based strategy game, but then there were a bunch of side games. One was a small scale RTS where you could customise robots, and take FPS control of one during the fight, there were also a ton of text based games in it as well.
There was also Soldiers: Heroes of World War II where you could direct fire your units weapons. That was a nice integration because it gave you the feel of an fps but didn't distract too much from the RTS.
I would love to see this concept developed further, much further!
Certainly not a conflict of beliefs here for me, even though I AM a Christian. If you think that playing a GAME where you create little creatures and watch them grow up and influence their development is somehow blaspheming the big Guy upstairs, then there are probably a lot of other things you should be worried about. Like killing all those Koreans in Cyrsis, or popping Zerg in StarCraft, because theoretically they are His creations if you want to make this like real life, let's not even touch Thief :P
Entertainment is entertainment. I'm not saying you shouldn't filter what you watch or do based on what you feel is sinful, but seriously, if Spore is the game that you pick to highlight something offensive in, you must have your head in the sand...
