I thought the comparison to Halo 3 was a good point. I liked Cyrsis as well, but to expect a new name with an average plot to outsell one of the most beloved games out there, is rediculous regardless of platform...
Maybe it's just me, but I've seen a few people defending EA with games like Command and Conquer, but for me, as soon as Westwood went out of the picture, I thought the series just went downhill...
For me it depends on what mood I'm in. If I feel like commanding soldiers and do some strategic stuff, I'd rather play COH. If I feel like shooting something myself, I'd rather play Crysis. Each of these games can offer me something that the other can't. That's why I can't compare them in the way that this topic wants me to.

I have to agree, I'm mainly an RTS'er, but after playing too much of that, I need a little FPS breather. If I were to play two RTS's next to another, I might find the second one more boring because I've had too much, but I could subjectively diagnose that. Now if I've only been playing RTS and suddenly I play a really crappy FPS I could think it's the best thing in the world just because it catters to what I want at the time. I know when I was playing Crysis I was in the mood for shooting short funny talking people... Heh, don't know that I should publicly annouce that :P
I actually liked regenerating health in Crysis, thought it was nice not needing to scour the ground for a "Health Pack", imo one of the stupidest staples of an FPS...

You have a great point, but it's probably because they haven't quite done all the possible World War 2 scenarios, like the russians encountering mutants that change their populace like Resistance: Fall of Man, or Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. When they get done with ALL of those, I'm sure WWIII will be next, if it hasn't happened already. :lol:
