Luckily the multiplayer in ArmA II is possibly the best part of ArmA II, there is nothing like it on consoles. And there is no multiplayer player cap in ArmA II. It can hold as much as the server or PC can handle.
which i heard is around 20-30 ppl if you want a smooth game, and 40-50 if you dont mind lag, while 60 is basically pushing the limits. Welcome to PS3's dedicated servers on the other hand which have already proven smooth 60 with R2 and reports of sites and magazines at E3 saying it ran smooth with 256.

thats what mag is too, not just a fps. u can call in reinforcements, tanks, drop down from helicopters. some players dont even play the fps part they only do the helicopter, or tanks, and lots of other things. this is the ultimate war sim, armaII is nothing compared to this and please dont tell me otherwise unless youve played it as well.You cant have a battle with 1500 A.i. units in MAG. If the world is anything like SW (It's not) then Uncharted 2. Honestly, Uncharted 2 is the only high-profile Q4 exclusive I can think of at the moment... All the games I'm looking forward to this year are multiplat. Excluding GTAIV: Episodes.cutmaclass1

It's the same game with extra content. So it's a superior multiplat, not an exclusive.
