Your comparing a modern day, military combat and tactics simulation to Massive Action Game?
thats what mag is too, not just a fps. u can call in reinforcements, tanks, drop down from helicopters. some players dont even play the fps part they only do the helicopter, or tanks, and lots of other things. this is the ultimate war sim, armaII is nothing compared to this and please dont tell me otherwise unless youve played it as well. The only thing MAG will simulate really, is chain of command. And I'm reasonably skeptical of that actually working out as intended due to the factor of John Gabriel's Theory. Also the helicopters are AI agents, and I'm yet to see tanks being confirmed, all I've seen is APC's. I haven't played ArmA II much, haven't touched multiplayer, but I think it's safe to say that MAG will be more lenient and forgiving when it comes to employing tactics and behavior and what have you. Basically, check out Giant Bomb's Quick Look. If you're not on your game you will get shot, you will die and you will start over. That game only appeals to its niche. I think Sony intends for MAG to be a wee bit more accessible to the general public, CoD4 players, more or less. MAG and ArmA II share the military theme, so there probably will be some crossover due to that, but to suggest MAG as an alternative to ArmA II is just weird. Especially since ArmA II features a rather hefty singleplayer component. If you think MAG will be bug-free on release I think you are delusional. thats pretty much what i said when i said it seems more integrated.Name a Ps3 game has been ported to the Xbox 360?
Virtua Fighter, and it looked better on the 360.ghostbusters, and that looks way better on the 360 srry but like any game, the physics is more realistic on the ps3. this is where The Cell (TM) kicks in.Well I'm confused. Topic title says fps, but people feel the need to throw in third person shooters.
Xbox 360: Halo 3, PDZ, Halo ODST, COD2, BF2... The other titles aren't exclusive.
Ps3: Resistance 1, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, MAG, The Punisher, MGS4. MGS4 can be played in first person regardless if it's a stealth game or not therefore it's a fps. Crysis can be played as a stealth game and it doesn't take out it's first person shooterness.
These are the only games that should count.
If this is the case I'd go with the PS3 although I hated Resistance 2's sp. The 360 has a solid line up, but I reallly disliked Halo 3 and BF2 felt like an extremely dumbed down game. Also don't get me started with PDZ. A game with a ton of potential wasted with horrible controls and terrible aiming.
COULDNT agree more.alot of fps and tps have action and stealth in them lmao.MGS4 is a stealth/action game, it isn't an FPS I have no idea why you'd even bring that up.

Between the two the 360 has the highest rated FPS and TPS and Tactical shooter with Ghost Recon. It really is not even a contest when comparing shooters for 360 Vs PS3. Shooters is just yet another area where the 360 is better then the PS3.rybe1025MGS4 10/10 says hiiiiiiiii
PS3 for shooters, 360 for RPGs. Quite a reversal.Floppy_Jim*Ahem* RPGs maybe for now but when vs13 and demons souls comes *Ahem* *Ahem*
