There was this time where I clicked on a server and I actually got in. I was so happy and then the game ended...Yeah...that was about as much action as I got in that game. they really need to fix the servers.
I have a very similar problem to yours. My wireless adapter on my Vista computer won't detect my wireless access point half of the time, which is no more than four feet away (I measured) but it can detect my neighbor's wireless network. And that problem where it says local only happened when I had it plugged in.
Ok I figured out 3DMark 06 (Got over 9000) but haven't figured out how to get Core Temp to run. It keeps saying the driver is incorrect or something. I've tried the "Run as Admin" thing.Koinuboy

Let me rephrase that. Is there any reason why a computer would not be able to detect a modem even once it's connected? I'm seriously thinking my LAN port is defective...is that rare?
