There's a video of how to install the 9700 on the zalman website. They screw one side in a bit, then the other and so on, until its tight.WhOOmpa260
lol They must have rehearsed cause it's not as easy as that. Have you built yours yet Whoompa?

[QUOTE="Koinuboy"][QUOTE="jamserver"]

[QUOTE="Koinuboy"]I would suggest the quad processor. That video card while good won't handle the resolution of a 24 incher (if you don't set it to a high one then there's no point). The quad core processor will prove to effectively increase performance and even remove any nasty bottlenecks your current CPU has on yoru video card.jamserver

when i play on my 52inch in the living room that does 1920x1080 i dont run into any problems other than crappy vista drivers..Performance is getting better though

Well what games are you playing and at what settings? Cause if you're playing Oblivion at that resolution with high settings you gotta tell me where you got that card.

lol no i dont really like oblivion at all..im more hardcore fps....i easily handle FEAR GRAW2 UT2K4 BIOSHOCK BF2142 and others with ease on max settings. I see your point of view though, i have seen limitations in supreme commander when the action piles on lol but thats once every blue moon ya'know.

Well if everyone's suspicions are correct than the upcoming Crysis will not be handled at that resolution at high settings with that card. And yeah, Sup Com is a CPU intensive game so it's to be expected.

lol It's not DOA, I had the same problem. Took me about an hour to finish screwing it in. I suggest you use your fingers to hold the bottom against the mobo and use the thumb to press the bracket down. Make sure they fall into the holes and keep a tight grip and you twist the screw.
