How do you have a Chloe avatar? I checked the PS Store not too long ago and it was just LBP/MAG/Heavy Rain avatars. Maybe I missed it but I doubt it, I've been waiting for some Uncharted 2 avatars.

Stories are there to hide other flaws. Look at Mass Effect. It's an average third person shooter but it has a good story so everyone overlooks it's flaws. Mario doesn't need a story, because main Mario games do not have flaws to hide.

To summarize, it deserved a 10/10 but it doesn't mean much. This is why:

SMG2 looks awesome, and I'll get it soon but to me, its not like this awesomely epic game thats one of the greatest games of our time or something. It just comes across as an excellent disctraction. What I mean is, of course its a great game, but its just not something epic like a Legend of Zelda game. I can't see myself being "wowed". Its no wonder why GS didn't give it the "Oh Snap" emblem. Its because there's never going to be some unforgettable moment that people will always be talking about. There's nothing deep about the game, and its just impossible to get immersed in it. By the time I've beaten it I'll have forgotten all about it.

It's just nothing amazes me because IMO its just good old Mario back with some fun platforming. Again, this isn't a bad thing, but this rating of 10 just doesn't seem like a big deal to me whereas something if something like the next LoZ game or even something like Red Steel 2 had gotten a 10/10, now that would have been something to talk about.

You know, Super Mario Bros 3 never had an "Oh Snap" moment and yet it's perhaps the best 2D platformer of all-time. Super Mario 64 didn't have an "Oh Snap" moment once you got over the fact that it was 3D, and yet up until SMG it was the best 3D platformer of all-time.

Mario's charm isn't it's story, memorable moments, etc. What seperates Mario from other games is it's level design, simple yet fun and sometimes challenging gameplay.

It is one of the greatest games of our time, but yet people won't admit it because it's one the Wii and the cool thing to do is to hate on everything this gen and pretend it's overrated.

That's um, stupid.

I know me and my friends were joking about it last year. This game is an average third person shooter, only reason why it's hailed as great is because it's supposedly an RPG. I hope this is a REALLY late April Fools joke..

I wasn't talking about Reach. It has it's own flaws that won't be fixed, kind of like how most of the flaws in the Halo 3 beta were never fixed.

Man oh man, why did they destroy Halo. Brought back so many memories of it being fun. That video ALMOST made me want to get Halo Reach, then I remembered, it's not worth it.

There's ridiculous lunge and ridiculous aim assists and the game is just overall easier. Halo CE on Legendary was so difficult and I could never master it. I got to a point in Halo 3 where I could beat the game in under 5 hours on Legendary with ease.

Well, I might mention that I did buy a PS3 Slim over the Xbox 360 because the PS3 is significantly smaller than the 360 and did not include an overbearing powerbrick either. Space is premium where I live, and this fact greatly influenced my decision to get a PS3. Plus, the exclusives on the 360 weren't enough to woo me over, since most of the exclusives were primarily shooter titles like Gears of War and Halo.The_Capitalist

• Metal Gear Solid 4 (Sony fanboys will never admit it but MGS4 is a shooter first, unlike the previous 3 titles)

Let's be serious. Both consoles are loaded with shooters. Both consoles also have quality non-shooters. Not to mention quality is also subjective. I would rather play Lost Odyssey instead of God of War 3, but GOW3 is a AAA title while LO is only an A.

Why?

1. Most PS3 exclusives, nine times out of ten, never make it to the PC. In comparison, most of Microsoft's exclusives make it onto the PC, so if you want to spread your net further in terms of the titles that you play, a PS3 is highly recommended.

2. The PS3 is one of the best media consumption devices on the market. A combination of Blu-ray, access to Youtube, and Netflix streaming make it an excellent (and perhaps even cheaper) alternative to an HTPC.

3. At the moment, you don't have to pay to use the Playstation Network, especially if you like to play multiplayer games. I find matchmaking to be a breeze, and I highly doubt that Microsoft's Xbox Live offers significantly more features than PSN does.

Despite my praise for the PS3, the best platform for gaming is still the PC. However, as a supplement to any PC gamer's gaming experience, the PS3 serves this role well in allowing PC gamers to play a good number of console exclusives.

Good. Aside from Assassin's Creed (which isn't even that great to begin with) everything Ubisoft has put out this gen has been pretty mediocre.

I'd rather them not butcher the game, which would've been inevitable.
