Funny how this game got overlooked even though it's predecessor was the best game of the generation.

Thank goodness though. No more cows bragging about ZOMG WE HAVE 1337 LINEUP WITH ONLY AAAAe!!

Lemmings, Sheep and Hermits have won today. Just one less stupid thing we have to put up with in SW now.

I would say giving gamers games. Sure they could give us more good exclusives, but a good game is a good game so I for one, don't care if it's exclusive. Call it "greed" or them "killing the industry" but they shelled out supposedly $75 million so Xbox owners could play GTA IV when it released. They probably paid (or persistently asked SquareEnix) for Final Fantasy XIII.

Sure they do some questionable things, but you would be a fanboy if you just single out Microsoft. Nintendo and Sony have done the same or maybe worse.

this is awesome, more money to devs = overall better/more games.

kontejner44

If that was the case Activision would be making the best games.

It's sad how people are actually okay with this and are trying to justify this. I remember back when people wanted full ownership of anything they owned. Now you guys are content with partial ownership while paying more. This is going to do more harm then good. What happened to being able to take your copy of Halo to a friends house and playing it?

Oh yeah, I forgot, nobody goes outside anymore. Stay inside and play Xbox/PS3/PC all day.

This sucks. I don't keep one account. The most I'll keep one for is three months and thats only if I can get one months through a promotion or something.

I don't pay for XBL. I just keep returning my system in at BestBuy and then use the 3 free trials off that system. So basically I wouldn't be able to play UFC because it'll be like Bad Company 2, where only the profile the VIP code was used on is the only one that can play it.

I was going to buy UFC but forget it. It's not worth me paying for a service that should be free. I think it's time for me to stop gaming. It's going downhill, and downhill fast.

I completely agree, Shadowrun was amazing. I used to play it at my friend's house all the time. Such a fun game, I seriously don't understand the low scores for it. Had a great community as well.

People love numbers and useless features, that's why. Shadowrun only had what? 10 maps? It had like 6 guns and a Katana as well. However, it was the perfect game because each gun had a use, no gun was overpowered and there was a lot of depth to the game with Magic and Tech. I wish a Shadowrun 2 would come out, and like people have stated, it comes with a single player. Be different. Keep the single player to it's RPG roots, and let the MP grow off the previous title. RPG single player + Complex FPS MP = win in my book. However, it'll never happen and if it does, SR2 would be a joke. Games have to appeal to the noobs now so the depth that made it special would be gone.

[QUOTE="Kony33"][QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"]The fact that Gears of War is an MLG game demonstrates a lot if you ask me. A game rife with glitches, inconsistencies and over-powered nonsense only implemented because it's 'dude, awesome!' and they play it as though it's a competitive, skill-based game?Espada12

1. It's not an MLG game anymore 2. It was there because the MLG community wanted it. If you think MLG should have better games, support those games. They aren't going to pick up a game and risk a poor turnout. Also, there's more PS3 games than MLG games also. PS3 has the EA Sports titles, as well as Tekken 6. Xbox 360 only has Halo 3.

This is why MLG is looked upon the way it that it is by "pro" gamers.

Pro gamers never gave it a chance. They can't look past the fact that Halo is the flagship title. They just think "meh, noobsauce. MLG is garbage" completely ignoring the fact that Bungie and Microsoft are/were sponsors. Of course Bungie's flagship title is going to be the flagship title of the organization it has close ties with. They've tried to get numerous games on the circuit but they've never gotten any support. The PC community thinks very low of MLG, so if they put Counter Strike or Quake 3 on the Circuit, there's no guarantee that anyone would show up. Even the SF community hates MLG because it has Halo as it's flagship title. They needed to get money and sponsors, and as a company that was just starting out in an extremely risky situation (honestly, how many professional leagues survive long? A lot of organizations made the wrong mistakes and got shutdown quickly, MLG was trying to avoid that) so of course they went for the popular titles first. It was to benefit anyone interested in professional gaming, but unfortunately, "gamers" are too shortsighted and can't look at the big picture. They just see Halo and instantly bash and shun the company.

oh well say goodbye to open world and good graphics, sigh

Ultizer
Yes, because Xbox can't possibly handle open world with good graphics..I forgot, all 360 games look like NES games while PS3 puts Crysis on Very High with graphics mods to shame.

They choose the games for us, then we get to select which one we want? Fail. There's a lot of garbage PS1 games on the PS Store. They definitely wouldn't offer any of their good games. It's like Microsoft giving you the option of Bulletwhich, Vampire Rain or Bomberman: Act Zero for paying for XBL.

[QUOTE="billyd5301"]I called you a fanboy because you are defending Capcom with this "ground up" idea. Almost every game besides most sports titles is from the ground up. They are taking 2 enormous franchises that you could literally take 100+ characters from easily and throwing in 30. Now other fighting games 30 is a decent number, but fans of the series have come to expect more from it than 30 characters. Maybe it's not half-assed for something like Dead or Alive, and we have come to expect this from Street Fighter through the years, but Marvel vs. Capcom has a history as one of, if not the best fighing games for a console. You honestly like the idea of waiting this long and getting close to half the content of the previous installment? I don't. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was the first one of these to go on a console, and it came with almost 60 characters. That was over 10 years ago now. So I question how you can make a game 10 years later and it have somewhere around half of the content of a Dreamcast game. I am 100% sure that this game would have just as many playable characters as Marvel vs. Capcom 2 did if they didn't have the means to release more content through DLC.

Capcom had the benefit of using sprites from other games. The models they use in their Vs games are not new models, they are taken from previous versions from games. For example, Sagat's Alpha model is used in Capcom vs SNK, it wasn't a new model. Now, feel free to list a game on current gen consoles that has models capable of being in a MvC3. Don't forget, it needs to be similar to Tatsunoko vs Capcom models, which means even though Spider-Man and Wolverine have had games, those models won't work because MvC3 isn't going to be a 3D fighter. Stop being so ignorant. We're not fanboys, we just know what we're talking about.
