@Silverline62 You never seen the N64 controller have you? What about the Original Xbox Controller? Then there was when the PS1 first came out, with all its buttons. People hated it as well.
@Gamerhomer The controller itself or the Steam OS and Steam Machine deal? So far it seems to be peaking alot of peoples interest, which is exactly what valve wanted to do. There are many who feel this whole Sony Vs Microsoft thing is getting stale. A new face in the "console" department is a good thing I think. These new machines appear to appeal to both the console players and the PC ones.
@Gamerhomer Nice generalization there, the both of you. The vast majority of PC users infact dont Pirate games at all. Also the games that are most pirated are often games like The Sims, or other EA titles that are infested with tons of DRM and restrictions.
You know what will be hilarious. With all this tech in a controller, Ill laugh if this thing is the same price as a regular Xbox Controller. Im willing to bet it will be. I personally think the xbox controller, which does not normally come with a battery pack or charger, is way over prices. Same with their headsets.
@anonymouszomby @EcksTheory Steam DRM? This is news to me considering you can play games on Steam offline for months at a time, not to mention many of the games that it offers are completly moddable and it has its own Mod database for ease of access to installation of said Mods.
