@MjnE @tomservo51 @Gamerno6666 You see the great thing about PC games is they last a long time thanks to communities of players and Mods. How many players still play Team Fortress 2, San Andreas or Even GTA 4 on Console? Next to none right?

@RedLegZeff @Kooken58 That is true, but microsoft still uses their Power Brick. Now I could understand that for last gen. 8 Years ago 200-300watts were pretty standard. But today, that is very low. Makes me wonder how they can squeeze power out of the GPU's and processors at all with that low amount.

@aeterna789 @Gamerno6666 @sladakrobot @maddogmark25 I still play Team Fortress 2 from time to time. Came out in 2007 I think? Still tons of players play it. I wonder how many people still play it on the xbox. Probably none lol.

@fanirama If you were playing GTA 5 on PC and your PS3. One at 60 fps and the other at 30 and dipping from time to time...You would definetly be able to tell the difference. And after being use to said 40+ fps, you most likely would prefer that framerate above 30.

There was an article saying that consoles are sort of limited to a power supply output of about 300-400watts. If this is the amount of power usage developers are limited to today then dont expect anything much out of next gen consoles. My GPU alone requires 700w+ powersupply. If you want a strong machine, you need to dish out the power, but consoles are restricted in this area for one stupid reason or another.

@tomservo51 @Nightspark_N @dribblesbarbax I could see a 700/800 dollar machine running the game at 40-50fps on medium/high settings.

@thegroveman Console versions might sell more, but the longevity of those said games lasts twice as long as console games. (With COD being the exception, nobody on PC wastes their money with that series anymore)

@Jerrymedic I still love console gaming, but when I do most of my gaming on PC then I go back and play a ton of GTA 5....the 30 fps really becomes an eye sore at times. and is very much noticable. Think its rather sad that this "next gen" title is not even breaking 30 fps. Is it because the machines are not capable of it or what?

@BlackHalls I have a PC that I built 3 years ago. (Though I got a new video card 2 years ago). and Im still able to play everything mostly maxed out at around 50fps or so. Im sure Ill be safe for the next few years judging by how the current next gen consoles are looking.

But there is also this Steam Machine that is looking interesting.

@sladakrobot @somatzu Striking a deal to make both games look exactly the same so the PS4 doesnt look better?
