Apparently this uses the "cloud" So you have to be connected online to play this game? And the fact is that the "Cloud" Doesnt really make the game any better lol.
@ghostofkraken We should of gotten a price drop for digitally sold sales, but EA and activision screwed us over with that as well...That is why I stay away from both these companies as much as possible.
@zpluffy @Kooken58 @SavageEvil Ive heard mixed views on it but I might do that. I tried to play Reach but just could never get into it. Just felt more of the same to me.
@Deadly_Nemesis Bungie no longer works on Halo, so the other company working on it is pretty much destroying the series....Atleast we have Destiny to look forward too. (I hope its not an xbox exclusive)
@Danny_KickAzz @SavageEvil @Kooken58 @Winzent Its not really speculation, its common sense. With a fixed set of stats you could easily say what the ps4 is capable of. If you have a 5mb internet connection, the cloud isnt going to be able to magically process 200mb worth of data for you in a fraction of a second. Even 5mb worth of processing data has got to wind its way through the net to their host servers and make its way back to your console...Soo there will be latency when it comes to the processing. Internet speeds are still too slow to really make use of this type of technology.
@Danny_KickAzz @Kooken58 @Winzent Your internet might be fine, but what about us others? Not all of us are blessed with stable internet connections. I just want to be able to play a game without having to worry about how it runs or being connected constantly.
@SavageEvil @Kooken58 @Danny_KickAzz Yup, they are really jumping the gun if they think cloud computing is going to be something amazing or make the system more powerful. The only way it would make a noticable difference is if we all have 1GB net Connections. What happens if your net lags or your net goes down when you are playing that game on the cloud? Im pretty certain the game just goes to crap. Did you ever play games like Diablo 3 or Simcity? Two games that pretty much ran through the internet, the moment you lagged or internet went down the game went to crap...in diablo it completly kicked you out of the game. In simcity, it ran for a bit but the framerate dropped to terrible levels.
