@SavageEvil @Kooken58 @Danny_KickAzz @Winzent exactly, Unless we all have Fiber Optic connections, the cloud isnt going to do crap. Its a service that would work best with online open world MMO games, and how many of those do you see on xbox? The few games i could see it being a little bit useful on are games like Elder Scrolls or GTA. Being able to render and control the AI on far off NPCs and such. Pretty much things you dont really see.

@Danny_KickAzz @Kooken58 @Winzent Did you read even read how much it could "process"? Depending on your connection, maybe 1-5mb of data. Unless you have a godly connection and depending on how good their cloud servers they are...Like i said its a rather pathetic amount. Your average Graphics processor can process 1-2GB worth of data! So that "magical" Cloud service is not going to help at all when it comes to on the spot rendering. Thus, not making any impact on your overall FPS.

Games where it might be useful? Open world sandbox games, such as GTA. But overall its not going to make your game look more pretty or run better.

@Winzent It prolly wont be running 60 FPS for long, Ive heard microsoft was forced to underclock their CPU, due to overheating issues. Which I find hilarious.

@Danny_KickAzz @Winzent Actually no it doesnt. The cloud barely does crap and there are articles on it. First in order to do it back end processing, it would require you to be constantly connected to the intnernet...Second there are deals with latency. So it couldnt do on the spot processing due to such latency issues. Soo overall it could on do processing such as background things, or some shading/shadows....Also due to internet speeds, the most about of information it could process is roughly 1-2mb of Data. My Graphics card alone can support up 2GBs worth of Data. Soo the Cloud is nothing but a PR stunt, of them blowing smoke out their ass.

@noturfangirl I believe the GTX 600 series cards will come down in price. I have a GTX 580 atm and figured it should last me a few more years. This 2 year old card is still more powerful than next gen consoles. I heard microsoft was also forced to underclock their CPU.

@HailHellfire Im shocked that they still charge gamers to play games online even to this day. I accepted it back in 2006 and such back before I had a PC and knew better, but this day in age when such services are soo cheap to keep up. Its unacceptable in my opinion for them to charge players 10 dollars a month to play games online. Been getting such features free on PC for years.

For 500 dollars you could most likely build a more Powerful PC, where you could get more free games and not have to pay a monthly fee to use services such as Netflix and play games online. And also get cheaper games and Steam Sales.
