Despite the fact that you had to deal with the RROD (Luckily I only did Once because I took good care of my console, and was lucky I guess). And the fact that You had to pay a ridiculous monthly fee to PLAY games online....it was a decent console.
@cboye18 I bought mine in 2006 and Never got a single RROD. But the online subscription alone was enough for me to stop using my xbox to stop playing games.
@electroban Paying for things such as xbox live is more to blame than the games themselves. Other than certain xbox exclusives I guess. Its a complete rip off that we would have to pay to use certain features and to play games online! Im glad some are starting to realize that now.
@LeoLex_ Battlefield has always been about a mix of vehicle, air and infantry based combat. Which system did you play on? I could see how on console with 24 players some maps were too big. But many of them were created with 64 players in mind. Which made it just right on PC in terms of size.
@Shenmue_Jehuty dayz is the one exception, but what makes it fun is the multiplayer survival aspect. This is just a singleplayer survival with some zombies in it. The reality is though that FPS shooters have been done way more than zombie games.
@mrboone01 @foxrock66 It may be a good singleplayer game, but I mostly enjoy the multiplayer aspect of such games. And Dayz is a Mod, you cant compare a stand alone game to a Mod. Also Dayz standalone will be releasing here soon in the coming months. Which will be amazing. People Love Dayz because it is multiplayer, almost like an MMO in many ways. Most of us dont care for singleplayer experience.
