MIA Staff, Notifications & Online Status?

Please view my SUBMISSION GUIDELINES before submitting to any of my show guides. Seems the Staff isn't working as diligently as last week. I've got over 30 pending submissions to two actors guides I should gain editorship of once they're approved. I had lots go through last week but so far nothing this week. :( I noticed I had approvals (from guides with editors) for submissions, yet I wasn't getting PMs again saying they'd been approved. I checked my Preferences section and I had to re-check my Notifications box. It was checked on Saturday, today it was unchecked. Annoying. :( Anyone else notice this happening? It's seriously odd that this site continues to say my brother (JeffM2) is online when he's not. Perhaps it's cuz we share the same computer. But we have the Windows XP Home Edition where each user signs in so I don't see why that would make it seems we're both online on TV.com. Doesn't he have to sign in for that?

Newness all around!

Please view my SUBMISSION GUIDELINES before submitting to any of my show guides. New level for me today Level 35 - Beverly Hillbilly. Cool. ;) Got editorship of a couple more actor pages for: Shiloh Strong and Nick Stahl. A couple days ago when the bugs were rampant, I lost my 21 Jump Street guide but the next day it was restored (it was an issue with a retired editor accidently being "unretired"). I like the new Friends tools and the online status thing. Though I kinda wonder about it's accuracy as yesterday it told me my brother (JeffM2) was online and uh yeah he wasn't since he'd just left for work, and we share the same computer! It's also showing that he's online right now but he's not... I see the bugs on my History pages have not been fixed yet, since the "Next" and "Page" buttons are still not working. :( Though I'm glad they got the Notifications thing working again, that was frustrating.

Notifications Tab

Please view my SUBMISSION GUIDELINES before submitting to any of my show guides. Just an FYI to those who may not know, in your Preferences section there's a new tab called Notifications. It was set up a few days ago and today it's automatically checked for Auto PM Notification (for your submission approvals/rejections) and for Special Offers (whatever that may be?). So if you don't want to receive PMs about either of these, you must uncheck the boxes. You can read more info here: Notifications Tab. So that's one issue solved, though there's still some problems with the links on the My History, Submission Status section and the blogs. Plus there's been no further update re: editors being able to moderate their forums (which was supposed to "come into effect" several Mondays okay). *sigh* Slowly but surely I suppose... ;)

Level Up & Trusted User of a show I don't want (again!)

Please view my SUBMISSION GUIDELINES before submitting to any of my show guides. Made it up to Level 34 "Wardrobe Malfunction" (0%) - cool. Once again I was made the Trusted User of the Eight is Enough guide! Those of you may remember I've never submitted to it, yet I have 66 points! I suppose the editor forgot that I'd previously PMed her and that I wasn't interested in the status nor know why I've received so many points for the guide. I've never submitted to it or any of it's stars on TV.com or TV Tome.com. *shakes head* I just don't get it. EDIT: The Trusted status was removed again, and no one is really sure how it is I managed to get a wack of points without actually contributing. Theory is perhaps some other submissions were waylayed into that guide in error.

100% but no level up?

Please view my SUBMISSION GUIDELINES before submitting to any of my show guides. So exactly how is it I can be at Level 33 (100%) and not level up to Level 34? What's the dealio with that? Anyone know where stogster has gone? I had numerous pending submissions for the "Joan of Arcadia" guide and they were finally approved today. I asked missribs to check into that - is stogster back or did someone else approve them? Still not receiving PM's about approved/rejected submissions, and I hear many people are not. Plus when I check out my History submissions section the "next" buttons don't work. I have to manually type in the page # in the address bar. This is the same issue that caused me to not be able to access my earlier blog entries! Very frustrating. :( A week and a bit back I was made Trusted User for Da Vinci's City Hall, so that's cool and just today I picked up Jonathan Jackson's page too. ;)

Level back up & blog now found

So my Level's back up to "Borg Queen" again (Level 33), however I have a new issue. My SUBMISSION GUIDELINES entry isn't reachable since the blogs were updated! My links in previous entries only bring me to the most recent entries and I just can't seem to find it. I've PMed missribs asking what to do. That'll teach me for not saving it on my computer! D'oh! But I believe I can find it on TV.com via someone I gave permission to post in his blog too. EDIT: Thanks to the wonderful afenla the blog entry has been found: SUBMISSION GUIDELINES!

Spoiler clarification and level jump

Those white screens are a tad annoying aren't they? Hope that's fixed soon. :) Stemming from a PM from Gislef I updated my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES about Spoilers. I guess I wasn't 100% clear I meant spoilers for upcoming or future episodes - not for ones that have already aired. Though on that topic, I do prefer to try and keep very detailed outcomes of episodes out of most sections except for the Recap section. Some of the trivia borders on "too much info" sometimes but if it's an episode from last season, then no worries. ;) Hit a new level last week, but since the blogging was down I couldn't post. I'm now Level 33 "Borg Queen" (ah yes I do admit I am a Trekker - I watched all of the new Star Trek shows, not the original which I don't care for), and I really like the new level bar - pretty dang snazzy, love the way it fills up when the page is first loaded (I'm at 31% so it's fun).

New Level & New Icon

**Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows.** Finally level jumped to Level 32 Whammy! - some sort of 1980's game show reference that I'm not familiar with. Plus I decided I needed a change and altered my avatar/icon to The Muppets' Animal. He's a cutie. Though I wish there was a bit more to choose from. I'm hearing some kind of buzz about the possibility of editors gaining the ability to control things in their show forums - perhaps getting some mod capabilities. Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mod anything full-time, but if I could, I'd tidy up things once in awhile...:)

It's almost 2006...

**Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows.** I "tidied" up the TV Freaks forum a bit and we have over 100 members now. Woohoo!
