Submissions & the Phantom Queue

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows. So apparently my Da Vinci's City Hall submissions are sitting invisible. I thought the new editor (khaki_dojo) just hadn't gotten to them yet, turns out she can't see them! That Phantom Queue thing strikes again. So I've posted in the Support & User Submission forum, and PMed snide & several of the staff members. Some of the submissions for that guide were approved and the other user was made editor, but I've still got a bunch sitting idle for two weeks now. Somebody fix it please! It's a brand new show and I'd like to help make the guide look good.

New Level, Updated Guidelines, etc

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows. Well I finally jumped up to level 27 a couple days ago - I'm now a "Shark Jumper" ah those classic Happy Days references. ;) FYI I recently updated my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES blog entry and it now lists the last time I updated it at the top. Anytime I run into an issue with some submissions it reminds me of stuff to add to that, so I finally did. For the past week I've been slowly chugging through my Editor Queue, which thanks to a few users has been pretty dang full. It was kicking around at 500 for a time, but now I'm keeping it at around a steady 250-300. A couple users have been awesome enough to tidy up sections of the Charmed guide I haven't gotten to yet, but it's quite time-consuming doing approvals of these! But thank you hainesg324 and robinepowell for your fantastic work, and hainesg324 I'll try and finish your approvals this week. So I hear actor page submissions are showing up in Editor Queues now too - but so far I haven't seen any pop up in mine. I'm editor for Edward Norton and Christopher Marquette, perhaps no one likes them as much as I do? ;) Anyone wanna test contribute something to their pages so I can see what happens?

Da Vinci's Inquest now Da Vinci's City Hall

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows. So they made a new show page for Da Vinci's City Hall which is fine, since it's now being touted as a spin-off. But I'm miffed the staff didn't tell me until last night! People have already begun contributing to it, and I had no idea. I was adding stuff to Da Vinci's Inquest in error. Thanks guys (sarcasm). I've contributed a bunch of stuff this morning though, as I've got more details on it - plus it's airing tonight. :)

Actor pages/People editors

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows. Thanks to LisaGansky who made me a Trusted Contributor for Ryan Reynolds' page now too. ;) I was his editor on TV Tome as well. I've been following his career since he was about 15 years old and on a Canadian kids series called The Odyssey, which I'm also editor of. Hehe. Yes I know, others have commented on my obscure TV show knowledge. FYI guys approvals are happening if you contribute to actor pages, but watch out the DELETE THIS BLURB button isn't available and they won't approve links to other websites. I had tried some links to IMDb.com for the film credits but they wouldn't approve it. But links to other TV.com pages are allowed (say if you're adding a TRIVIA bit about a relative or love interest).

Top 5 again!

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES and visit the TV Freaks forum that I run to discuss your fave shows. Coolios! Made snide's Top 5 List again: 1. Gislef [6532] 2. ChrisG0522 [6281] 3. DennisKytasaari [3712] 4. MasterAndrew23 [2884] 5. Kristhetvgirl2 [2514] Also his latest blog mentioned that they're not planning on doing much with the Actor pages currently. It's basically just deemed "research" right now. Bah. Oh well, guess I'll just wait and see. ;)

Level 26 & Stats...

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES. So I just hit Level 26 "Bow Flex" - and I'm at 1% so obviously I just squeaked in for this past update. Here's my current submission stats: Accepted: 2123 Pending: 17 (mostly actor stuff) Denied: 12 Total: 2152 Not bad, not bad at all. I don't really like the look of the 12 denied but in comparison it's relatively small. ;)

Another Actor page...

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES. I picked up Edward Norton's page now - course I still can't approve or edit things properly. But meh what can you do? :( Plus LisaGansky was kind enough to make me a Trusted Contributor for Orlando Bloom's page, since I was editor for it on TV Tome. Thank you! :)

Another new level, Jump Street, etc.

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES. So I jumped right over level 24, and right up to Level 25 - "Coconut Phone" (Gilligan's Island reference I suppose?). Must've been all the people pages' submissions I've been working on since hearing you can become an editor of those now too. Though LisaGansky mentioned that you cannot actually edit them yet, your submissions go to the BIG mod queue, and they don't show up in yours yet. That sucks. Plus I know for a fact that the DELETE THIS BLURB function is missing from the actor pages, since I've been trying to fix the Trivia sections on my fave actors, and it's not there to check! I just type "delete" in the entry instead. Frustrating. :( Plus with this retired editor bug still running rampant, I "lost" my 21 Jump Street guide, and am not even the Trusted User I was before fuddle2 retired and gave me the guide! Argh. Everybody chant "fix the bugs!" with me.

Level jump, new guide, etc

Please read my SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES. Finally the levels have calculated and I have moved off of Level 22. Sitting at Level 23 "Close Talker" (ah those Seinfeld references ;) ), and since I'm at 96% I'm sure Level 24 is coming up very soon. Picked up a new guide: Young Blades - a show I'm currently watching here in Canada (it aired in the US on PAX). It's a show about a new generation of Musketeers, pretty cute. Plus I hear that you can become people editors now, as LisaGansky became editor of Orlando Bloom's page (I edited that on TV Tome.com). Cool indeed. :)
