It looks sexy, but will it work, and work consistently?mountain_duwe

I don't know first-hand of course, but according to the overall reviews it certainly looks that way.

that looks cool!matches the ps3 lol but my friend told me that jabras are a bit uncomfortable when you wear them?can anyone tell me if this is true?

agarc90

The pix at IGN show that the ear strap is VERY adjustable, so I wouldn't worry about it.

lol you can tell in the beginning that whoever's playing doesn't know that your supposed to tilt the controller to move... otherwise it was cool.

I'm not getting any sound tho, is it supposed to have sound?

I wait for IGN U.S,but thanks for the other reviews.finalfantasy94

Same here.

IGN UK gave RFoM an 8.0, while IGN US gave it a 9.1 (whole point higher), so it seems to be a matter of what each IGN personally prefers more then anything.

SKATE for sure. There's something that's just better about it. Everything from the sound effects, to the weighty feel that tricks have when you land, the cool "skate cam" camera angle, and just overall looks more fun.

Probably one of the only instances when REALISM will probably be more fun then the "let me fly 100 ft. in the air off a 6 ft. half pipe and do a 1080 before landing and grinding a rail for 30 seconds, for the fifth game in a row" deal.

Seriously pretty tired of tony hawk tho, i think this one will take the crown overall.

Im just wondering can u plus component cables into the yellow red and white slots on my tv? or do i need component cable inputs?

Bishop1310

nope, cuz then you would still need extra slots for the red, green, and blue cables, and component cables don't use yellow jacks.

So yea you need component cable inputs.

[QUOTE="ff7isnumbaone"]Was Kllzone 2 delayed to add touchssense. I read something somewhere about sony maybe announcing touchsense at TGS. What you guys think?azad_champ

Noob question: What's touchsense, another word for Rumble? As far as I understand this title is still slated for "2008". That means that they are probably saving the game for the Christmas shop next year.

Touchsense technology in a game controller:

--With the new technology, vibrations can be crisper, shorter in duration, more closely spaced, more in sync with onscreen events, simultaneous, and both stronger and more subtle to supply a new level of realism.

--Shorter, crisper effects allow the feel of machine gun fire to be more staccato-like and also more closely synchronized with the sounds and appearance of realistic gun fire.

--New levels of strength and variation allow gamers to feel the accelerating surge of powering up a light saber, followed by the transition to a subtle hum, then the jolt of clashing with their opponent's light saber.

--A more subtle capability allows the springy sensation of hitting a tennis ball or the fast, crisp connective feel of catching a long pass, supplying a far more immersive experience.

--Multiple, simultaneous game effects can be separately rendered to increase engagement and excitement.

--For example, distinctly different vehicle vibrations caused by driving over gravel, rocks, and mud could be felt along with the sharp pop of shifting gears or the force of acceleration or deceleration.

And no, if Killzone 2 was delayed in the first place (don't think it was ever supposed to come out this year) then it's for other more important technical reasons...

I mean there's 2 potential triple A games coming out soon that don't have rumble, and no one is moaning over it.

you need windows media player 11 and a wifi connection. then you need to select media sharing from the libaray tab in windows media player, and allow your ps3 to access your mediaJamesEFresH17

Don't think It necessarily needs to be wifi. I think as long as you have a router, then it's fine. Also, if you have external security like NORTON or something, and it doesn't work, you have to make sure to allow media sharing or access to your network.

Don't know to what extent you need help, so i just told you everything just in case.

I think it depends on what you prefer. Some want a good, in-depth combat system with a difficulty that only the truly skilled can master while others prefer a more laid-back/pick-up-and-play style game that relies heavily on visuals (flashy moves) and the story. God of War would fit into the second category for example.

And don't forget, they may not have made Nariko's combat so in depth because it didn't really have to be, (even though, I myself find it very suitable) what with all the different types of things you'll be doing (firing cannons, playing as a completely different character with a completely different weapon 30% of the game, using a bazooka, throwing projectiles and actually controlling the path, etc.)

Not to mention, it appears that circumstances will be very different for Nariko compared to Hayabasa. Of course there will be arena battles, but the developers also developed this game around the fact that the heavenly sword is a very destructive weapon, and can even decimate armies. Don't forget they had to develop a combat system that can take on FIELDS of enemies as well as small groups (no, I don't mean wave after wave of enemies in arena sized zones, but everyone all at once on a battlefield the size of a level).

For example, tell me an instance when Ninja Gaiden Sigma featured a battlefield filled with enemies you have to fight, that WASN'T arena-sized.

You can't, because it's combat system is too fine-tuned and complex for something as chaotic and random as armies made up of untrained and unpredictable brutes in war.

And also, Remember Ninja Gaiden Revolves mainly around Hayabasa. Rachel adds some variety, sure, but not nearly as an extreme change like Nariko and Kai (basically a action/adventure character and third-person shooter).

I'll agree Ninja Gaiden Sigma has the better combat system, but as far as the overall better game, I prefer category 2 for unwinding after work (much-less stressful) and HS definitely seems to have an edge as to who I'd pick.

EDIT: THIS SUX I DIDN'T MEAN FOR IT TO BE AN ESSAY, I SWEAR.
