I am a huge SOCOM FAN and confrontation is not that bad of a game. It does bring back some of the old great levels from socom 2 like vigilance and and others but in a snow setting and at night. It does have its issues when it first came out like not having everything it was suppose to as far as clan support and tournaments etc. Alot has been fixed now but so many felt betrayed in the beginning that a lot of people walked away, not to mention they really dropped the ball on the DLC offering only one pack when it was suppose to be many. You can get if for 9$ or less easy on ebay and for that its not a bad game if you want to give it a go until 4, it still has people playing just not like the good old days of S2.

Just looking at the releases of games I personally want is off the charts. I thought 2009 wouldn't be topped for a long time, but damn am I wrong. So I have come to the early conclusion it will be the best year in games... ever. :) Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, LBP2, Team ICO Collection, Batman Arkham City, Last Guardian, and those are just the ones I know I want now. your ps3 is dead, my 60gb did this about a month ago and it has never turned back on since.( i hit the power button it makes a couple beepsand just flashes red)Call sony or go to the website and get ready to send it in for repair and pay for it, also they will not send the game back just a refund of the game. It sucks this happened to me right in the middle of a game too but i opened mine and took it out

Lets just say some games it works better for than others, happens a lot but for some reason it works much better for highly anticipated MP games at least from what i have seen.

I am pretty sure COnfrontation confrontation added an option to download the game off of the PSN but of course you would have to pay for that. It would have made sense to give you a code to DL it if you wanted too since you bought it though. But you do need the disc to play it no matter what if thats the version you have. The load on was just for quicker loading in the game
