My main machine over $3500 at retail (lil under $2500 in the end). But easily over 10g's worth pf stuff in all the machines in the LAN room. .....Thats be original cost though. Doubt a buncha GTX 285s and Core2 8400s would fetch as much as they used too.
I guess my Speakers. Logitech Z-680s from a LONG while ago. At least 7 years I would say. Still work like brand new so, why change em. oldest part actually IN my tower would be my X-Fi Fatal1ty...Two years old I think.
Uh. Depends. If you are talking physical size then you are obviously limited to the types of cards the reader will accept (if you have CF and its a tiny lil MS Pro slot then no it won't take it). If you are talking about memory size then...for the most part yeah you should be fine. If it accepts SD and you have a 32meg SD, should read it. If you have a 32gig SD, should read that too.
Nice picks dk. Whatever ya'll do though....DO NOT turn yer back on Sager just cause you may not have much about em.....I own 2 Sagers now and have had many more in the past. My SLi Laptop is a Sager and man its my favorite of all time. Easiest time I ever had upgrading a vid card in a laptop too.
Knowing your budget would be nice. But..I have been buying from xoticpc for years and I'll put any of their laptops up against the finest and fastest in the world. They just come in hundreds cheaper. You buy a high priced Sony or Dell or boutique shop laptop and...its a Clevo anyway...just with a Sony logo on it.
If the cables are the same (same make/model/length) and the screens are the same. Then i would say it HAS to be a setting somewhere. Are you sure they are set up identically in the vid card software, Windows AND the physical settings on the monitor itself?
Oiy...man I just HATE people!! 1400x900 is a FINE res, crisp, clear, no problem at all. 640x480 is the ONLY res that is a waste these days. SHEESH! Well, I am partial to the 570 as I own a few of em but (and again, the res is NOT a "waste")...BUT, at that res, either card would do just fine.
