Well generally V-Sync is to prevent "tearing" by limiting the maximum FPS. Should be no limit on the minimum.

They are VERY similar systems and will yield similar performance. Both cards are plenty fast for mid level moderm gaming and the CPUs are current and will work well too. I would lean the Nvidia/Intel route but really either would do ya fine.

Yep, thats about it. Back in the day DVD-R was a little more widely accepted. These days either format should be fine.

Ill answer once more.....just to help remove the mis-information. yep the box says SC....SSC AND FTW. If you will notice, SC is highlighted in Yellow while SSC and FTW are Grayed Out.......Why? Because it is an SC card, NOT the SSC or FTW. They all are great cards but alas, no SSC or FTW 570s exist...yet.

[QUOTE="KyleGates"][QUOTE="socomusnavy"] Is that the same card as the EVGA GX 570 Superclocked? socomusnavy
Nah. Its goes: EVGA GTX 570 (Reference Clocked(732/3800)) 570 SC (Superclocked(797/3900)) 570 SSC (Super-Super Clocked) 570 FTW (For the Win) 570 SDD (Super-Dee-Duper Clocked with a big Purple Sticker!!!!) ...ok..I made that last one up. As for the dude posting about the FTW. He lyin!! Or at least Im 99% sure he is. EVGA has NOT released an SSC OR FTW version of the 570, only the 570, 570 SC and 570 DS HD.

Nope, I got an EVGA TX 570 SSC FTW LINK:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130595&cm_re=gtx_570_superlcoked-_-14-130-595-_-Product Just ordered it about a couple hours ago. And, based on your guy's response on noise, I bought one!

Yeah thats TOTALLY NOT an SSC FTW. Its clocked at a mere 797mhz. Its the regular SC version.

It IS overclocked but it is not the FTW. In your link it even says "superclocked" not FTW. SC exists. SSC and FTW do not in the 570 Variety. Sorry.

Edit- To clear it up I gave ol EVGA Customer Support a ring....asked about the 570 FTW. there is a 580 FTW but no 570 in SSC FTW.

[QUOTE="istuffedsunny"]I don't think most people put it higher than 4x unless they're playing at insane resolutions. The bigger the res, the more annoying jaggies areferret-gamer

Lower res you get more jaggies not higher res. The more pixels you have the less aliasing, you need more AA at lower resolutions than at higher resolutions.

Yes..YES, its the lower res's that suffer from more jaggies. I run at 25x16 and 2x AA is MORE than enough. But...yeah..peeps like to say they are running 16x...just to say it.
