@LindBergh2007 @LeviHarris At least you can opt out of those services. I know the current version of XBL requires you to be online to play downloaded and arcade games, but to avoid that little hassle, all I have to do is choose to avoid downloading games vs buying them. That's what concerns me, taking away the choice of the gamers.
My bet is that certain features will require always online, like this one...I mean, that's also kind of my wish. I want the next Xbox. But they may force my hand to swing back to Sony. We'll see what happens over the next few months, but I feel safe with PS4, whereas the next Xbox has me weary.
I kinda love this guy a lot. I'm not sure how I feel about the amount of respect I have for him from just reading a snipped about him. Let this be an example to follow for other publishers, please?
I literally already own all of these. Two or three copies of MGS and MGS3. Great for anyone who wants to catch up, but I'll most likely pass. Just bring out the new one!
You can save a lot of taxpayer money and focus on real issues by taking this task force and having them just "educate parents." Don't want your kid to turn out to be a piece of shit? Then take a role in parenting. No regulations needed!
@Cypress131 @LeviHarris Sony has historically sold their systems at a loss in the past. They make up for it through games, controllers and now, most likely, subscription services. That and they're the biggest electronics manufacturer. They can afford an initial hit out of the gate to create a large user base to sell those games and components. Not everyone can steal Apple's idea of making something like a 40% profit on each device sold.
