Not soon enough!

I'm totally on board with this and think this should be the way consoles go in the future. Less time spend on R&D with controllers, looks, etc and more time spent on offering upgrades as you go along. PS4 is already near-perfect, but it's still based on 3-4 year old specs. I know it's not ideal for the masses, but fits into what I want. Otherwise the same watered-down versions of games that have plagued the past few console lifecycles are subject to "Can PS4 run Half-Life 3?" and then boom, console gamers miss out on great new games or pared-down versions.

Witcher 3, Metal Gear 5, Fallout 4 -- all sequels -- all better than the sum of their predecessors...well, except Fallout 4. That still remains to be seen, but those cases sure do look nice! (If it's only as good as 3, I'll still be happy. More Fallout is always a good thing)

It'd be great if the NX could out-perform the X1 and PS4 -- which wouldn't be hard since they're based on tech that's 3-4 years old. It'd give them the edge to win over the COD and FPS fans and then they could use their incredible artistic tendencies to not just churn out gorgeous visuals, but lace them with the charm and pinache they're known for.

If they could somehow land a dream game like a Chrono Trigger HD remake that would sell me. But I know that's near impossible. A boy can dream. Oh, and the entire SNES catalog on the mobile portion? Yup. Sold.

Regardless of the cost I'm picking one up. I've had a very brief affair with the DK2 set and loved it -- can't wait to see the finalized version -- at the very least it'll be a great novelty to show to friends and family. I'm predicting a wii-like approach to the oculus. It'll be slow at first, but if they can somehow scrape up the budget to market the thing (sarcasm back there) they'll be able to adopt a lot of users.

Or I could be wrong and it could end up a massive failure. Either way, they'll get my money.

I've heard enough, get it in my PS4 now, please.
